CHAPTER 19
Eriel didn’t bother replying to her greeting, “I am hungry, go prepare something edible for I and my Fiancée,” Eriel muttered in his usual grumpy tone.
“But,” Aquila said something but Eriel cut her short.
“No buts,” Eriel scowled angrily and Aquila shivered slightly. “Now get out of my sight!” Eriel snapped angrily and Aquila quickly rushed out crying she hates when people yell at her.
She got to a corner and slowly wiped her tears, she sighed before continuing her walk to the kitchen, She got to the kitchen and sighed.
“Is it that there are no maids in this magnificent mansion or did he send them away to make me suffer?” Aquila thought about looking around.
She decided to prepare what she had in mind, which is spaghetti and chicken stew. “I pray he likes it,” Aquila thought as she continued cooking.
When she was through preparing the meal, she placed them on a big, wide tray before taking them to the big dining table.
She met Eriel and Adelina kssing, smooching and caressing each other, Aquila stared at them calmly, “so he brought this girl back to this house?”
Aquila thought staring at Adelina who was equally staring at her, Aquila looked away and dropped the tray on the dining table.
“Breakfast is ready sir,” Aquila said, bowing her head. Eriel opened one of the covered plates, his eyes widened when he saw she prepared his favourite dish, a dish he has not eaten for years.
“What if she poisoned it? How did she know my favourite dish or Robert told her? But it smells nice,” Eriel thought, staring at Aquila whose head was still bowed.
“Have a taste of what you prepared Eriel said observing her facial reaction, Aquila sighed and took a fork.
