CHAPTER 14
Eriel turned and began climbing the stairs that led to his bedroom, he felt so sorry for himself.
He entered his room and laid on his bed, his head filled with possible thoughts on how to get rid of Aquila.
BACK IN THE SITTING ROOM
“We have to go now honey,” Mr Chester said as he stared at Aquila with great admiration, he saw her like the daughter he has always wished for, Aquila frowned and pouted her lips sadly.
“Please don’t go now, I will be so lonely, ” Aquila said sadly.
“Don’t you have friends?” Mrs Chester asked, stroking her dark hair.
“No, I don’t have any friends,” Aquila said.
“Awwn, really baby? Mrs Chester asked with a surprise look on her face and Aquila nodded.
“Come on, Darling, we have to prepare for your wedding with Eriel,” Mr Chester said and Aquila nodded sadly.
“Don’t worry, we will come see you before our vacation, ok?” Mrs Chester said and Aquila nodded.
“Bye,” Aquila said and Mrs Chester leaned closer to kiss her forehead.
“Stay safe honey,” Mr Chester said and walked away with his wife, Aquila sighed when they left. Immediately a middle aged man walked in.
“Hey, I am Robert, Sir Eriel’s personal bodyguard, well, Eriel asked me to bring you to the room you will be sharing with him,” Robert said with a friendly smile on his face.
Aquila’s heart skipped when she heard Eriel’s name, she gently stood up and followed Robert, while Robert led the way.
They climbed the long stairs and finally they got to Eriel’s room. “Go in,” Robert said.
“Huh? I should go in……… alone?” Aquila asked nervously and Robert nodded before walking away.
She exhaled and inhaled softly before walking into the room, she shut the door behind her, as she looked around the room, her eyes rested on Eriel who was staring outside through a window.
