Chapter 11
“Oh my goodness!” She gasped. “Yes! Yes!! Yes!!! I will marry you,” Adelina said excitedly and Eriel smiled happily before slipping the ring into her finger.
They kssed passionately until they both were out of breath.
“Come on, let’s go show them some sugar,” Eriel said excitedly and they walked down the stairs talking, laughing, kssing and caressing each other.
They got to the sitting room and met Mr and Mrs Chester sitting with a girl.
Eriel smiled and walked to his parents, he kissed their cheeks, “good morning mum, good morning dad, Eriel and Adelina said in unison.
Mrs Chester glared at Adelina and Adelina looked away, Mr Chester cleared his throat and began, “son this is your….. ,He couldn’t complete his statement before Eriel cut him shut.
“Oh dad you got me a new maid? But I never told you I needed one, OK fine I will look for another job that suits her well,” Eriel said all at once.
Mr and Mrs Chester frowned while Aquila stared at him emotionlessly.
“Well sorry to burst your bubbles, this young Queen here is your wife-to-be,” Mrs Chester said, smiling at Eriel.
“Huh? Wife? But mother I am engaged,” Eriel said glaring at Aquila, Aquila glared back giving him a spiteful look.
“Really? you are engaged?” Mrs Chester asked happily.
“Yes mum, I am engaged to Adelina, so I don’t need this filth as a wife, “Eriel said frowning at Aquila.
“Oh my dear Adelina, I am sorry for how I treated you in the past, let me see the ring my dear,” Mrs Chester said dramatically.
Adelina smiled and stretched forth her fingers joyfully thinking Mrs Chester had finally accepted her into the family, she stared at Aquila giving her a mocking smile.
