CHAPTER 61
ARDEN’S PLACE
“Chelsea, stop watching the TV and go take your morning bath, it’s past noon for crying out loud” Sheldon collected the remote from the little girl seated on the couch.
“leave me alone, you’re not my mother!” The girl screamed.
“learn to watch your tongue you imp” Sheldon yelled in despair.
“you seized my phone and now you want to restrict me from watching TV, what the h’ll is your problem, woman!” Chelsea retorted.
“you…” Sheldon aimed to catch her but the sly girl slipped past her and headed to the stairs with the air full of her giggles.
“get back here, I’m going scold you” Sheldon raced after her.
When they got to the middle of the stairs, Sheldon pulled Chelsea by her arm.
Chelsea struggles and hijacks her arm back but her left leg didn’t balance on the stairs, she slipped back and fell.
Sheldon gasped and watch the little girl roll down the staircases.
They got a message from the maid in the middle of having a nice time and when they got out to see, a thick woman was seated lazily with a little girl which turns out to be Chelsea.
Arden explained that the woman was his ex and they were together for 4 years even before he married but he never expected her to get pregnant for him.
Long story short, Arden’s ex gave an excuse of getting married to her online fiancee and she’s travelling abroad.
The man doesn’t know she has a child and she doesn’t want it to ruin the relationship so she thought Arden needed to know his daughter.
The resemblance was nothing to argue about so now she’s the one to deal with the mannerless child.
“Arden..” she cried when he picked her call. Even if she hates the child, she can’t wish her dead.
“I’m busy right now babe, I’ll call you ..”
“Chelsea fell!” she coughed.
“Lift her up, there’s nothing difficult in that”
“She fell down the stairs”
“what?! call the ambulance” he said and hung up.

“We successfully revived her but she’s going to suffer from broken arm for some months” The doctor reported.
“can I see her?” Arden asked.
“yes, you’re permitted” the doctor said and Arden started walking, Sheldon followed behind.
“where do you think you’re going” Arden turned and frowned.
“what are you saying, aren’t we going to see Chelsea?” she said with shaky voice.
