CHAPTER 56

Ocean had his headphone on and was shirtless, sitting at his table with a pencil that he’s so fond of, drawing on his pad.

He didn’t seem to notice her but she went behind him and observed what he was drawing. Realizing it had been the same art that he is redrawing, she said;

“why don’t you tell her”

“…” he was silent and she thought he didn’t hear her.

“she has someone else” he sighed and takes down the headphones facing her.

“woah.. I thought it was a study section not a date, why are you all glittery” he smiled.

“I thought the clothes and stuffs will go to waste if I don’t use them” she said.

“or… or… or.. there could be a guy in the team” he teased and winked.

“Maybe”

“I knew it” he smiled.

“go out there and shine like the sun Snow” he patted her hair.

“I’m Snow, I’m met to be dewy and cold” she rolled her eyes and went away.

His smile slowly faded.

He tried drawing something but the result ended up being her face.

Ocean brought out a light from his pocket and tore off the page, burning it afterwards and disposing the fire into the metal bin.

IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD

Lexus sat at the back for no reason he understands and it pisses him that whenever he tries to bring up a conversation, she shrugs his off coldly.

“Tell me Lexus , don’t you want to go out with me anymore?” he exploded.

“I told you I’m fine, just drive to the park and let’s waste our time” she said sarcastically.

“Baby girl, seems daddy haven’t taught you enough manners” he pulls over the car abruptly and went to the back seat.

He captured her Iips but she bit him instead.

“I’m not in the mood” she looks out the window but he dragged her over his laps and gave her a $pank on her bvtt.

“what are you doing, people might see outside” she tries to resist him but he’s too strong.

“that’s the more reason you have to keep quiet” he gave her another $pank on her bvtt.

“ouch Cameron!!”

“shh, you’re not allowed to call me my name naughty girl, say daddy” he spanked her again.

“I’m so sorry daddy, I won’t retort at you again” she sobs.

“that’s my baby girl” he brought her up and hugged hugged her. She cries more on his shoulder.

“Tell me Lexus”

“Dad’s gonna lose his job” she spouted.

It was silent for a long time. He caressed her hair and spoke.

“All will be well”
