CHAPTER 53

SCHOOL GARDEN

Nick was all alone sitting on the floor and looking into the air with a stick of ¢igar in between his index and middle finger which he puffed from time to time.

“Baby” She hugged him from behind, “I was expecting you yesterday”

“Too bad I didn’t show up” he said nonchalantly.

“what’s up with you Nick, why are you acting all je.rky, did we break up?”

“do you want a break up?” he retorts.

“Nick!”

“You didn’t text me at all, all week long.. it feels like we’re just together for just sx, there’s no life in us Nick, I’m always the one making things work” she yelled and he finally looked at her.

“why can you understand me Nick, I like you so much not just for your dîck” she cried.

“I.. I’m sorry” it came out as a whisper so she couldn’t hear it.

“I really like you” he brought her closer and enveloped her in a hug.

SCHOOL HALL

Cameron’s POV

This doesn’t feel right but I’ll endure, for my daughters’ sake.

We arrived into the hall, by we, I meant Arizona’s Mom and I.

I don’t know how she came across the information about the conference but she is here now, curling her arms around mine to put up a ‘good view’ for other parents.

Mr Sparks welcomed us to a special seat, it’s good he knows how to value my presence.

The meeting started and the principal started off with a long boring speech and I am at the tip of dozing off.

“Put yourself together Mr Diaz, there are drools at the tip of your lips” Ji-min elbowed me through gritted teeth.

“Are you serious?” I wiped my mouth stylishly in annoyance.

Aha! Just what I needed.

“I need to use to restroom” I whispered before standing up from my seat.

Trying not to catch attention, I left with hurried steps and made my way to the Parents/Visitors Restroom.

I don’t know why I’m so eager to touch her and feel her again but bringing out my phone was a huge chaos, my hand were shaky and I have to be careful not to let it fall.

I opened my contacts searching through L.

Lincoln Nebraska..

Lea Leo..

Labianca Manoise..

LEX.. no it’s Lexi, my gardener. Why can I remember what I used to store her name.

.. Baby girl! it’s definitely it.

I scrolled back up to B contacts and there wasn’t any signs of B.A.B.Y.

It dawned on me that we never exchanged contacts. Damn!

Facebook! she’s on Facebook!

It felt like the blue dots were taking forever to load but I finally messaged her.

At the Visitors Restroom. And I clicked send.

Loitering around, I waited for a reply and reread the message.

At the Visitors Restroom? what’s happening at the Visitors Restroom. I couldn’t even compose a decent sentence.
