CHAPTER 110
Victoria stared at him for a while before moving away from the door.
He went in and they stood, staring at each other, Victoria was practically avoiding his eyes cos her heart was beginning to act crazy again.
Silence took over for a while before Adams started.
“I’m sorry for kssing you without your consent, it was stupid of me to do that, I was out of my senses but the truth of it all is, I never regretted kssing you, I was happy I kissed you” He said and she looked at him without saying anything.
“The only thing I regretted was when you started avoiding me, it was hell for me knowing I’m the reason for it, I am sorry, please forgive me, I don’t know how it happened but I found myself falling deeply for you, I am in love with you, I can’t keep hiding it, it’s klling me already” He confessed and her eyes widened, she froze on her spot.
“I know you don’t love me even if it’s a bit tiny, you don’t like me even a little bit?” He asked.
“I….”.
“I know your answer, I expected it to happen this way but I will be free now, confessing my feelings but please don’t let this break our friendship, let’s still be friends, I will try my best to get rid of my feelings for you, I will delete my feelings for you” He said and started walking away, tears break free and started coming out.
It was hard but he had to do it.
“Don’t you dare get rid of your feelings for me, don’t you dare delete your feelings for me, don’t” Her voice stopped him.
He turned back.
She moved till she got to him, she was in tears already.
“I can’t do it anymore Adams, I promised myself never to fall in love again after the death of my husband.
For the past weeks, I thought avoiding you will make me forget about you but I was wrong, rather I couldn’t stop thinking about you.
I kept hurting myself, you’re the first man my heart will beat for after my husband’s d.eath” She said, her tears rolling down her cheeks.
Adams stared at her speechlessly.
“I’m sorry for avoiding you, I was just acting stupid, sorry for hurting your feelings, I like you” She said and his face brightened up.
“You do?” He asked.
“Yes I do and I wanna give love another chance”.
Adams was smiling slowly.
“Don’t delete your feelings for me, keep loving me and I promise to reciprocate your feelings” She said.
Adams was swinging in the pool of emotions, he was so happy to the extent that he became temporarily speechless, he stared lovingly at her.
“Hey why are you not talking?” She frowned.
“I…”.
Victoria leaned in and placed her lips on him. Adams responded like a burning fuel, pulling her body closer to him.
She melted in his arms as a soft m.oan escaped her lips.
