CHAPTER 109
ONE WEEK LATER**
“I want this necklace” Miranda said, checking out the necklace.
She came shopping with Stacey.
“Wow!! it’s beautiful” Stacey smiled.
“Check this one out” Stacey said and took another necklace.
It was designed with a heart pendant, a diamond necklace.
“You like it?” Miranda asked.
“Yes”.
“You can have it”.
“Thank you Mira” Stacey said and pecked her.
“Issh get away” Miranda said and Stacey giggled.
“Hey ladies” A masculine voice said behind them and they looked back to see Clinton. He was dressed richly and his handsomeness was glaring.
“Oh my!!!” Stacey muttered inaudibly.
Miranda just rolled eyes.
“Hi” Stacey said.
“You again?” Miranda asked.
Stacey looked at her wondering if she knew him already.
“I never thought of seeing you here” He smiled.
“What are you doing here anyway?”.
“Same thing you came for” He replied.
“Are you ready to tell me your name now or am I still a stranger?”.
“Yes” She snapped.
Stacey tapped Miranda, getting her attention.
Stacey gave her a look which means ” Stop acting hard to get”. Miranda then rolled eyes at her.
“Come on”.
“Okay my name is Miranda Lambert” She said.
“Clinton, I still remember your name” She said like she read his mind.
Clinton smiled.
“Can I have your number, I want us to be friends?”.
“I don’t..
Stacey tapped her again.
“Okay, fine, your phone” She said.
Clinton gave her his phone, she typed her number and returned the phone back to him.
“Thank you, I will give you a call, bye ” Clinton said and smiled at her before leaving.
Stacey smiled and turned to see her glaring at her.
“What!, can’t you see the handsome guy likes you, come on stop acting hard to get, get a boyfriend already” Stacey said.
“I hate you Stacey!!!!.

VICTORIA’S PLACE**
Victoria was about to go to bed when a knock gently came on her door.
“Who’s that?” She asked and moved to the door.
She opened the door and came face to face with Adams.
“Adams” She called and made to close back the door but he prevented it by placing his leg on the door.
“What do you want?”.
“I want us to talk please” He softly uttered.
“Talk about what?”.
“Please just this once, I won’t disturb you again” He replied.
