Lexus and Cameron eyes met for a second before they broke it and Ji-min noticed it.
“Lex this is my mom, she’s pretty isn’t she?” Ariz giggled
“right” that was all she could say.
“wait lemme tell the whole school I have a mother”
“Yo Yo yo everyone!” Arizona called their attention.
“Thank y’all for coming to my birthday party. I just wanted to use this medium to introduce my mom to everyone.
I know we’ve wasted so many years to be together but I’ll try to explore a lot of things with her, My mom, Park Ji-min” she said and everyone clapped.
_ She’s beautiful!
_ I’m not surprised, where would Arizona have gotten her beauty from.
_ Her parents gene are so strong.
“Okay dad, I’ll go socialize with my friends” Arizona said and pulled along Lexus with her.
There were a band of musicians that sang and performed melodious songs while people talked.
“I see you two are now separated” Ji-min said as she sipped the wine that the server brought earlier to them.
“isn’t that what you wanted?” he retorts.
“Thanks to you, we’re both devastated” he added.
“it’s for the best” she smiled.
A man with a woman came to them and they started talking about business. They’re apparently one of the students parents.
“congratulations, you two fit each other well” the man said.
“Mr Fred you amuse me” Cameron smiled wryly.

At a table somewhere ..
“Have you seen Nick, Lexus? Today is my birthday but he still hasn’t shown up or texted me a greeting. His dad is here but he isn’t, how lame” Arizona was on the verge of tears.
“don’t cry Ariz, he must’ve had a good reason not to come” Lexus tried her best to coax her.
“or.. maybe he forgot” her face were already red in tears.
“Arizona don’t be like this, today is your day, your dad won’t be happy to see you cry over a boy” She said.
“Nick is such a jerk, he deserves to die!!” she cried
“Rizzy” there came a whisper but she could hear it regardless of the loud music playing, he was here for her.
Lexus understood they needed space and left.
“hey don’t do this, clean up the snort, today is your birthday, try to forget him for a while” Pierce came to her abd hugged her.
“I fell too hard for him, Not even a greeting on the phone” she hiccupped.
“Baby, you know I’ll always stand by you no matter what, just pretend you don’t have a boyfriend for me.. just today” he pecked her hair.
“how did you know today is my birthday” she wiped her tears.
“Let’s say I always have my ways” he giggled.
“let me know your ways” she smiled.
“I’ll tell you after we grab a drink and dance on the floor” he dragged her to the dance floor and they started dancing to Anne Marie – it’s my birthday.
