NEXT DAY ~ ARIZONA’S PLACE
“hey dad!” Arizona hugged Cameron from behind. He was seated in his home office, having a morning meeting with the shareholders.
Guess he was to sad to even drive so he decided to have business at home.
“hey Collins’ dad, hey Natalie’s mom, hey Mr song, Mr Josh and Mr Donllop and the rest that I don’t know, could you give us a sec, family calls” Arizona’s said with a childish giggle backing it up.
They all had not other option than to seat quietly and watch the display between a rich dad and his spoilt brat.
Cameron raised his left eyebrow pointing it to Ariz’s direction and closed the laptop.
“make it quick darling” he said in a col voice without looking at her.
“Daddy did your secretary get on your nerves?” She twirled his swivel chair to her direction abd squatted at his front.
“no”
“did you loose a contract?”
“never”
“what’s wrong dad, you seemed off as soon as you woke up” She pouted adorably and he had no choice but to ease the frown between his brows to attend to his dearest daughter.
“it’s nothing, I promise.. It’s just.. just things didn’t turn well as it should” he sighed and rubbed her hair.
“Dad, you don’t have to hide it from me, are you seeing someone?” she asked and his eye balls bulged out.
“What?no! trust me, I get down to the business on the first night and that’s all, it’s about your mum, turns out the woman is your mum” he said.
“really? I’ve always wanted to have a mom” she squeaked.
“you do? but.. you never told me” he said with a sad tone.
“you never told me how I was born avd I didn’t want to be the first to ask should it be it’ll ignite some old feelings, you always gave me everything I wanted, but I go to school abd my friends talk about their moms and sometimes I wish I had one too” she said.
“I love you so much Arizona, you have to tell me what you want or think always and I want you to know that I’m trying” he said.
“I know and… that’s why I’m going out with Lexus for spa, I wanted to ask if you’ll like to come along” she stood up
That name – Lexus, if only she knew the unquenchable fire that ignites in him whenever he hears the name.
“Mm, I think I’ll have to skip that” he bit his lips.
“come on dad” she held his hand.
“Please, pretty please… daddy even just an hour.. daddy” she made cute faces.
“alright fine just an hour” he rolled his eyes.
“saranghae appa (I love you dad)” she hugged him and hopped out.
“what should I do with my cheeky brat” he tsked and went back for business.

Cam was done with the meeting and came out of the study room, changed his clothes to casuals and met his two best people.
His daughter and his lover – scratch that, his ex.
They were watching Netflix and cuddling each other on the three seater sofa.
He couldn’t help but ogle at her captivating face and temping lips. She was in crop top which revealed her fair porcelain skin that looked like it was made of milk.
“dad, don’t just stand there” Arizona called that made Cam cut the contact with Lexus eyes.
“Arizona you didn’t tell me your dad was at home” She said, beneath those eyes he could see the sadness through it.
He wished he could take them away.
“do you have a problem with that” Arizona asked.
“no.. I was just caught off guard”
“duhh Lexus, today is a public holiday, it applies to everyone” she said and Lexus nodded.
“I just wanted my favorite persons close to me” Arizona said hugged both of them missing out the awkward tension between her best friend and her dad.
