CHAPTER 21
They trio arrived in the hall, some of the cheer ladies were already dressed while some were changing outfits right in front of the boys.
Some girls went to the extent of posing se.ductively while dressing. Some guys couldn’t hold their u.rges and they went to one of the girls, one of them was Kayden.
Lexus couldn’t do the same with them and took permission to change outfits in the toilet.
“baby” Arizona ran to Nick (She was already dressed when she called Lexus)
She stood on her toes and kssed him. Ocean watched from behind and frowned
What’s going on, wasn’t that Lexus friend?, wasn’t that the guy that tried to harass her? is this even a school?
Series of questions flooded in his mind
“Have a crush on her?” a guy h!t the back of his head slightly
Ew no, Arizona of all people. He’d rather kss his dog than her
“That’s the captain girlfriend and no guy is allowed to touch her, I’m Phoenix” The guy said
“Ocean”
“Cool we both have rare names” he smiled
“This is the basketball team of the school, we have a competition next month and we haven’t been practicing lately that’s why today was impromptu” he explained
“how did you find out there was a team?” Phoenix asked
“I just walked here with Lexus and Arizona” Ocean replied
“Lexus, where is she?” He looked around rashly like he was afraid she’ll be lost at any minute
“She went to change or something” Ocean replied
Almost immediately, Lexus came in looking pretty as always but with Ocean’s sister who looked reluctant to come
“Your sis was looking for you so I had to bring her here” she said and her eyes went to Phoenix who was beside Ocean
“Lex.. I know I’ve been a jerk, I was so drunk that night please forgive me” he said immediately and she paused
“I get it, it’s fine.. the past is the past” he rolled are eyes
“are you serious?” his eyes widened
“How can I be alright, don’t ever talk to me! Ocean… you can mix around, I’ll bring Snow to the group” she held Snow hand and left the boys sight
“What happened?” Ocean asked as he watched Lexus leave
“I tried to force myself on her but thank God it didn’t happen” he sighed and Ocean mouthed an oh
“Let me introduce you to the boys” Phoenix patted him and they walked to the team.
