CHAPTER 15
Avery Nelson
I was shaking, not bothering looking at the person that was fighting for me.
I was scared , the though of me almost getting raped made it hard for me to breath.
I felt someone touched me and I screamed,
Please don’t hurt me,
Please.
I closed my eyes tight and I felt the person bent to my level.
I’m not going to hurt you I promise, i’m here to help you.
I opened my eyes and looked up and saw it was Mason.
I started to cry the more, t..tha…. Thank you. I said in between my sob.
I cried and I looked at Luke as he was badly beaten. He looked like he had already passed out .
I stared at Mason as he helped me to stand up but I couldn’t stand as I fell back .
I couldn’t just stop shaking, the thought of getting raped was scaring the hell out of me
It’s okay, I’m here no one will hurt you , he said.
I looked at his eyes and saw all sincerity in them. But it made me cry the most.
I wanted to say thank you but no words came from my mouth.
Before I knew it I was pulled into his embrace.
I was shocked that I almost choked on my tears, but I could still feel my body shaking.
Mason started to draw a circle on my back. It’s okay, I’m here now and that’s all that matters.
I nodded my head as I cried for a while.
After some minutes I pulled away from the hug.
I…I’m really sorry, I didn’t mean to wet your shirt. But he just nodded his head as he helped me stand up.
My heels were aching and I knew I wouldn’t stand a chance walking so I just pulled it.
I held it in my hands.
I brought my hands as I wiped the tears that were forming in my eyes.
Thank you, thank you very much. I really appreciate you and if I could ever repay you I would.
I said, giving a slight bow. I took my bag to the floor. I brought out my phone and dialed Hannah’s phone number but it wasn’t going through.
I noticed that Mason was still standing there staring at me.
I’m sorry for disturbing you, you can go back inside I’ll be going back to my room.
As I took a step forward, then mason held my hand and I stared at him confusedly.
Be careful, he said before he turned away .
I stared at his back until I saw him enter the club.
I just sighed as I began to walk .
I felt the breeze hitting my face while my leg hurt from walking barefoot.
I smiled as I felt the cold air around me . I really love nature.
I brought out my phone and my earpiece from my phone.
As I listened to music while walking.
As I listened to the music , I felt someone following me. I stopped and turned around but saw no one
I continued to walk but that feeling didn’t go away.

Finally I was standing in front of the building but I didn’t go inside.
I decide to sit outside and wait a little for Hannah.
Then I started to listen to one of my favorite songs by Thomas – not my job anymore.
I started to sing along with my eyes closed
“Wish I could be the one that you call too much at 4am cause you can’t stop crying.
Drive you home when you get too drunk and you say you’re fine but I know you’re lying.
Wish I could be the things you need and I can come and save you like before.
Ohh, but that’s not my job anymore “.
I’ve never been heart broken before or been in a relationship before but it’s my favorite song.
After a while I started to feel cold and decided to go inside.

Hannah
I was dancing with Roy and I can’t deny he’s a really good dancer.
I was having fun with the fact that he was flirting and also playing with me. I was happy and I was lost in it.
I looked up and saw Avery staring and smiling at me and I smiled back
Minutes later the song was changed to a slow one and Roy pulled me by the waist close to him.
At first I wasn’t comfortable but I later gave in wrapping my hands around his neck.
He kept whispering some flirting words in my ear and I couldn’t help but smile but everytime he did that he always kssed my neck which made me a little bit nervous.
I spotted Avery and a guy dancing together and I was happy she was having fun

After a while Roy pecked my cheeks and I wasn’t comfortable again so I pulled away and I noticed Avery wasn’t there again.
I decided to go back upstairs to look for her so we could go home.
Hey Hannah, what happened, Roy said.
But I just ignored him as I climbed the stairs. I noticed that Avery wasn’t there so I decided to check the bathroom.
I went into the bathroom shouting Avery’s name but I got no answer.
As I turned to leave I saw Roy standing at the entrance staring at me.
I decided to move to get out but he held my waist pulling me to the wall trapping his hand preventing me from moving.
Wh… what are you doing? I asked with a shaking voice.
Come on Blondie don’t act as if you don’t want this too.
My eyes grew wide and I decided to push him away but I couldn’t.
He was way too strong.
Don’t play hard to get because girls like you always get bored.
Now I was scared.
You’ve got the wrong idea, Roy.
Shhh, I’ll make it quick
Before he could touch me the door burst open.
And there was Westley standing there angry.
He looked at me and then Roy.
Dude can’t you see we are in the middle of something.
But he just ignored Roy as he walked towards me.
He took my hand and dragged me out of there.
He was holding me really tight.
He pulled me out of the club with so much force.
I tried to stop him, because he was hurting me.
Then he stopped but he didn’t let go of my wrists.
Are you crazying? He shouted.
Have you gone nuts?
Why did you go in there with Roy?
He shouted at that last part.
And I jumped in fear.
I started to cry.
It hurt to see the person you are actually love raising his voice at you.
I felt his hand loosen from my wrist as he pulled me in a hug shocking the h’ll out of me.
I was super shocked that I cried the most.
I was both happy that I was this close to Westley. I was happy that he was hugging me right now.
But at the same time I was sad Because he didn’t know who I was.

After a while I cleaned my tears and he pulled away, making me frown a little.
Come on, you are going back to your hostel now.
But,my best friend is still there.
I saw her walking outside.
I brought out my phone as I saw 5 missed calls from Avery and a message from her.
I guessed she was tired and had gone home.
As Westley took my wrist again hissed in pain and he quickly let go of my hand and stared at it.
And it was already red
I’m sorry, he said
Wow, I was shocked that I just nodded my head.
He began to walk me back to my hostel.
I found the perfect opportunity to ask him.
I stopped as I turned and faced him.
Do you not know me? I said I was scared of his reply.
He looked at me for a while before he said.
Is this not the first time we are meeting?
I tried to fight the tears that were planning to fall down.
Can’t you remember anything at all.
Have we met before, he said
That word broke me and I turned around and cleaned my eyes
I didn’t want him to see me crying so I said .
Don’t worry I can go myself. Thank you with that I ran away.
When I knew I was far away
I cried,
How can he not remember me?
Avery thinks that it’s because he just helped me 6 years ago but I didn’t tell her that we lived as neighbors for almost a month during summer vacation 6 years ago.
Famz update won’t be everyday again because my school mock is tomorrow and I need to read.
After my school mock is jamb mock so I’m really sorry.
