EPISODE 9
Not knowing what to do, she decided to turn back and head home. Maybe from there she could get a clue about something.
She was about turning back when she saw a female figure seating by the side of one of the school flowers, resting her head on her laps.
The figure looked really familiar, and so she decided to check it out. She started moving closer and closer, she was really afraid but she decided to check it out. There is really not harm in trying.
She walked slowly towards the person and before she could get closer, the person raised her head. She was about to run, but halted when she found out it was Courtney.
“Jeez Courtney, you scared life out of me” she sighed in relief as she held her chest.
“Ivy you’re back” Courtney muttered as she stood up and walked up to Ivy.
“Yeah” Ivy breathed tiredly.
“You came really late, did you get the ice cream?” Courtney asked, and anger flashed through Ivy’s eyes immediately she heard that.
“Can you believe he gave me a credit card that wasn’t funded, Castillo gave me a frozen card and I was unable to get anything” Ivy complained bitterly. Pain and anger visible in her voice and eyes.
“That’s really bad of him! I knew he was capable of such, the C4’s are just too wicked. How could they do that to you?” Courtney asked feeling really sad.
“These boys have done more than enough, the punishment is way too much for my crime. If I keep missing classes like this, then what’s the essence of school?” Ivy ranted, while Courtney watched in pity.
“Are they still in school?” She asked after some minutes of silence.
“No they’ve gone home already, everyone has left” Courtney answered.
“Including Alvin?”
“Yeah including him. I went to your class after closing hours to get your bag pack, and I was sitting quietly at the lobby when Alvin approached me. He asked me about you, and I…
“Hold on! Did you tell him I went to get something for the C4’s?” Ivy asked sharply, cutting her off.
“No I did not, I told him you went somewhere with Leo” she said, and Ivy quickly snapped at her.
“What? Do not look at me like that, I could not come up with a better lie” Courtney shrugged.
“And what did he say?” Ivy asked.
“He was pissed off, and he complained that you should have at least told him. He wanted to call you, but your phone was in your bag pack, and so he left with your bag back” Courtney explained.
“And what about you? What haven’t you left?”
“Come on, I could not afford to leave the school when I know my best friend is somewhere far, and she was also coming back to school.
So it’s not bad if we leave together” she said and Ivy engaged her in a breathtaking hug.
“Thank you so much Courtney, what would I do without you” Ivy cooed, almost in tears.
“Nothing girl, nothing!” Courtney replied jokingly, and they both laughed.
