The anger Ivy was feeling earlier suddenly vanished as she was speaking to Courtney.
“What about your mum? Wouldn’t she be worried about you?” Ivy asked with concern.
“Naaah, I called her and lied to her that we would be having extra classes. We should be worried about your own mom instead, don’t you think?” Courtney replied.
“Don’t worry, I’m gonna handle her at home” Ivy said calmly.
“You know I had to dodge Leo today, coz I knew he was gonna ask of you” Courtney said as they held hands, and began walking away from the school compound.
Courtney does not want to go home with her driver today, and so she refused to call her mom to tell her she was done already.
She wanted to walk with Ivy coz that was what she’s always wished for. And today, it’s a reality and not a wish anymore.

“Ivy, where the h’ll are you coming from?” Alvin asked as he sprang on his feet, immediately Ivy stepped into the house. He was fuming in anger.
“Hey easy, I went out with Leo” she answered.
“And why is that, where did he take you?” He yelled.
“Alvin can you please stop shouting” Ivy huffed.
“Answer the damn question Ivy!” He spat.
“He took me to Chills Speed” she fired.
“Wow Chills! Great, just great. So you’re telling me now that you missed classes all because of an ice cream or what? What’s wrong with you Ivy?” He ranted feeling so disappointed.
When did Ivy become like this…..
“Hey baby” her mom said as she came out of the kitchen and gave her daughter a hug.
“Where have you been? You scared me” her mother asked, checking her out.
“Mom I just went out with a friend, I do not know why Alvin is shouting” she lied again.
“Alvin what is the problem?” His mom turned to Alvin.
“She missed her classes to go out with that Leo boy” he answered.
“All work and no play makes jack a dull boy, can you just let her be” her mom said calmly, and Alvin huffed.
“I don’t just like that guy, he is related to Chris of the conceited C4’s. Those boys are up to no good, can’t you see? Do you want to keep getting into trouble” Alvin half yelled.
“He’s nothing like his brother” Ivy defended.
“You can never tell, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree” Alvin spat angrily, and then stormed upstairs.
Ivy watched him with so much guilt in her eyes.
What has she gotten herself into????
