And immediately he stepped out, the class turned upside down. Students started murmuring to each other, and everyone one of them seemed to be excited.
“Wow girl, this is so exciting”
“Yeah Gina’s hotel, that place is a really beautiful place. I have been there with my parents before, and I have a lot to testify about it”. Two female students at the back chatted happily.
Ivy looked at everything, and then shook her head. Everyone was talking about the party.
Well it sounds like fun. But one thing’s for sure, she’s not gonna waste her time in making a dress this time around.
She’s gonna use any of her old dresses with colors blue or white, that’s if she’s even gonna show up at all.

“Wow Ivy, did you hear about the party? Courtney asked as the three of them walked to the cafeteria to get their lunch.
“Yeah I did, it doesn’t sound that interesting to me” Ivy shrugged.
“Yeah, everyone knows you’re a boring girl, nothing seems to interest you” Courtney rolled her eyes.
“Courtney! I hope you know you just insulted me right now” Ivy said feigning anger.
“Oh I’m really sorry my dear friend, I was just saying the truth” Courtney teased.
“You know what? I’m not speaking to you anymore Courtney, just leave me be” Ivy said and walked ahead of them.
Courtney continued laughing out loud as she followed Ivy at the back, while Madison just walked behind them quietly. She has been quiet the whole day.
They walked to the cafeteria, and they took a table at a corner. They all sat down, and they began looking around.
“School looks quite scanty today” Ivy said, and Courtney quickly nodded in agreement. And after that, they remained silent, with no one wanting to stand up.
“Ehmm I’ll just go get lunch for us all” Ivy said and got on her feet, coz she saw they were playing the “First To Move game” again, and she wasn’t in for that at all.
“Alright” Courtney said, and she stood up and left the table.
Immediately Ivy left, the place became so silent, more silent. Madi and Courtney were just sitting opposite each other, without even saying a word.
Courtney has always suspected her, she looks like someone who was up to something, and that’s something not good at all. She looks cunning.
But what could she do? If she utters a word now, they’ll say it’s because of jealousy. So she just have to let her be, and simply keep an eye on her, coz she don’t trust her at all.
Minutes later, Ivy came back with a tray in her hand, and she handed a plate to each of them. Then she took her seat with her own plate in front of her, and slowly they all started eating in silence.
This was so unlike Madi to be this quiet, coz she noticed Madi hasn’t even said a word since the lunch break.
“Madison, are you okay?” Ivy suddenly asked, breaking the silence. And Madi just quickly nodded without even saying a word, and then they continued their meal.
Courtney raised her head and gave Madison an awkward stare, while Madison just eyed her hatefully and continued her meal.
Ivy wondered why the atmosphere felt so cold today. She noticed the cold feet, and the stare between Courtney and Madison.
She looked at them and released a small sigh. She just doesn’t know what to do about Courtney and Madi’s dislike towards each other.
