The next day, during lunch break. Leo Courtney, Ivy and Madison were seated in their usual spot. Each of them had their snacks in their hands, and they were discussing happily.
Leo was telling them a story of something that happened to him when he was small, an experience he would never forget. And they were all laughing their ass out.
“Seriously, seriously, I never knew it would turn out like that” Leo added amidst laughter, causing them to laugh again.
“Like seriously, you’re really funny” Madison laughed, and Courtney looked at her in a funny way before taking her eyes off her.
But Ivy was quick to notice this act. She wondered what it was between this two people.
“So Ivy my baby, how you doing” Leo said as he shifted closer to where Ivy sat, and flung his hands around her shoulders.
“What’s wrong with you Leo, who’s your baby?” Ivy questioned jokingly, as she tried removing Leo’s hands from her shoulders. But Leo refused.
She kept trying, but Leo was stronger, and so he surpassed her. Seeing this, she just let him be.
“Is anyone bothering you?” He further asked, and Ivy bursted into laughter.
“So what do you wanna do now?” She asked, still laughing.
“I don’t understand” Leo furrowed his brows.
“If I tell you now that someone is disturbing me, and I tell you the person behind it, what would you do?” Ivy asked
“You’re seriously asking me that Ivy?” He huffed and Ivy released a light laugh.
“I’m gonna fight of course. I know how to fight tekwando you know” he said and everyone bursted into laughter, except Courtney who just forced a smile.
“Can you even fight? Just a punch, and you’re down already” Ivy teased causing Madi to laugh even harder.
“You see Ivy, I do not like it when I’m being underestimated” he said still holding her.
Courtney was really hurt, she was pained. Leo and Ivy were hurting her seriously. She felt like standing up and leaving, but everyone would suspect something.
That was why she kept her cool and stayed there, even when it was extremely hurting her.
She wondered why Leo would notice Ivy and not her, is it that Ivy is more prettier or what? Ivy just got into the school, and Leo who was known to be a loner suddenly changed, and began sitting in the midst of women just because of her.
Leo was normally known as a jovial and friendly person, but he never had people he moved with. He preferred sitting alone and doing things alone.
But since Ivy came around, everything just changed, and he behaved as if that was his first time to meet her.
She and Leo had been classmates for years now, but he never noticed her. They only exchanged greetings each time they saw each other.
At first, she was cool with him being just her friend, at least she gets to talk to him everyday, and the girls in their class would see them together.
But now, she wasn’t okay with that anymore, she wanted more. And he giving such attention to Ivy each time they were together, and totally disregarding her, stings her heart so badly.
It was really clear Leo loves Ivy, but she doesn’t know if Ivy loves him too or she’s just pretending. But whatever way, it was really hurting her, and she really don’t think she can keep up with this.
“Hmmm……it seems I have love birds by my side. Can you guys please get a room” Madi teased causing her to earn a slap from Ivy instantly.
“Are you normal?” Ivy queried, and Leo laughed nervously and gently took his hands off Ivy’s shoulders.
“Madison you’re not just a serious person” Ivy scoffed.
“What, I’m I not saying the truth? You guys have been disturbing our peace, while some of us are just trying to have a decent meal here” Madison joked, and they all laughed.
But Courtney wasn’t finding it funny at all, it was rather annoying. Coz Madi was still adding to her pain, everything happening on that table was just making her sick.
