“Wow! Who do we have here, who the h’ll is this?” Alvin gasped as he walked into Ivy’s room, to find her staring at the mirror.
“You’re not a serious person” Ivy laughed.
“Noooo, indeed you look gorgeous” Alvin said, this time in a serious tone.
“Thank you” Ivy smiled, feeling flattered.
“You’re welcome” Alvin answered, and they both stood quiet for sometime.
“I see you’re stingy with compliments too” Alvin said lowly.
“Oh…I’m sorry bro, you look really handsome” Ivy said immediately she understood what he was talking about.
“No just leave me be, I’m not gonna take that” Alvin said feigning to be hurt.
“No please, forgive me. I really mean it, you look handsome” Ivy said sincerely.
Alvin was putting on a white suit with blue bow tie and blue shoes, his inner jacket was also blue. Everything about him was just blue and white.
“Alright fine, I’ve heard you” Alvin rolled his eyes.
“So does the plan still stand, is Courtney still coming over to pick you up?” Alvin asked.
“Yeah she is, you can go have fun with Sophia, I’ll be fine” Ivy said calmly.
“Okay Sis, see you when I see you” he smiled and kssed her forehead, before quickly heading out.
Ivy watched him as he left, and then let out a sigh. She couldn’t help but smile as she watched him go, she sighed again and sat on her bed.
She brought out her phone and tried dialing Courtney’s number, that girl better start coming.

Ivy barely finished talking to Courtney on phone, when she drove into the compound with her driver.
Ivy sighed and stood on her feet, immediately she heard the horning of the car.
Immediately Ivy’s mother heard the sound of the car, she started calling on Ivy.
She was worried when she saw Alvin leaving without Ivy, she wondered what kind of silly arrangement was that.
She was worried that her girl wasn’t gonna attend the party, and this was just maybe a strategy for her to sit at home.
She knew Ivy always disliked parties, she wasn’t a fun filled person, and so she preferred staying at home to partying.
“Ivy baby!” Her mom called again.
“I’m coming mom” Ivy replied as she picked her purse from the bed. She arranged her dress one more time, and she sighed before walking out of the room.
She got downstairs and saw her mom waiting for her right in front of the stairs.
“Your friend is outside waiting for you” she uttered immediately she saw Ivy.
“I know mom, goodbye” she said and gave her mom a quick peck before walking out.
“Be good okay baby”
“Okay mom” Ivy answered from a distance, and her mom kept looking at her until she was out of sight.
Her mom sighed and went to take her seat on the couch.

Ivy got out and went to sit with Courtney at the back.
Courtney was also putting on a blue dress, a dark blue dinner gown, the length was really long.
“What too you so long?” Courtney asked, immediately Ivy sat down.
“What! I should be asking you that, what took you so long? I have been waiting since forever” Ivy fired.
“Alright fine, let’s go” Courtney said, and they smiled at each other before the car moved.
