CHAPTER 11
JOANNA’S PLACE
Joanna arranged her hair in a ponytail, she looked at herself in the mirror and smiled.
“Gosh, I’m so cute, look at my juicy bbs” She said, admiring her bbs.
“I wonder who will be the lucky guy to sck it” She said and giggled to herself.
She suddenly heard the door bell ringing.
“Who’s that?” Joanna asked and took the gown on the bed, she slipped into it and left the room.
She walked to the door and immediately she opened it her eyes widened.
“Bestie” Joanna called shockingly.
Moanna looked at her with red teary eyes, scaring Moanna.
Moanna fell into her arms and Joanna quickly hugged her.
“Bestie, I’m a big f.ool, I ruin myself” Moanna said and started crying again.
“Calm down” Joanna said, patting her.
“Come in” Joanna took her in and closed the door back.
She led Moanna to a couch and made her to settle down.
Moanna tears kept flowing nonstop.
“You’re scaring me bestie, what happened?” Joanna asked, almost crying.
Moanna threw the paper at her, Joanna took the paper and opened it.
She gasped unbelievably.
“Am I seeing double?” She asked herself.
She read the paper to be sure she wasn’t seeing double.
“You’re….. pregnant?” Joanna said.
“I’m pregnant bestie”.
“I can’t believe this, you told me you took contraceptives so how did this happened?” .
“I can’t even explain it, the contraceptives didn’t work on me, I’m pregnant for Jeremy and worst of it is that I don’t even love, I only fancy his handsomeness and nothing else, my career, my dreams is shattered now bestie” Moanna sobbed.
” Please calm down, this is not the end of the world, I’m sad too but we will find a way out, you have to let Jeremy know about this and please don’t think of hiding this from your mum, she may be disappointed but everything that happen has a reason, so stop crying please, I’m getting emotional, I might end up crying” Joanna said and hugged her.
“I don’t want to become a mother, I cause this myself, I blame myself.. I hope I listened to you, now look at where I end up, the feeling of getting married to Jeremy is killing me already “.
” Stop thinking about that, think about your child”.
” You’re sleeping over right?” Joanna asked.
Moanna nodded.

Victoria entered the house with a bag of groceries in hand.
She went to the kitchen and dropped the groceries and went out.
” Baby” She called.
” Baby, I’m back ” She called but no response came.
” Is she asleep?”.
Victoria went to Moanna’s room and found the room empty.
” Did she went clubbing as usual?, why did she bent on frustrating me”.
Her phone started ringing and she looked at the screen to see Joanna calling.
She swipe green.
” Jojo” Victoria said.
“Mummy Vic.. I am calling to let you know that Moanna is sleeping at my place” Joanna said.
“Okay, it’s better that she is with you, I thought she went clubbing, can I talk with her?”.
“She is taking her bath” Joanna lied.
“Tell I love her”.
“I will good night”.
“Good night Jojo”.
Joanna looked at Moanna and she tried to smile.
“It’s so boring, why does this has to happen?”.
“You will be fine bestie, come on, be strong, you are the ¢raziest girl in Mexico, remember that” Joanna said and Moanna laughed.
“I finally made you to laugh”.
“Thank you bestie”.
