CHAPTER 9
7PM**
Joanna and Moanna came out at the same time as Victoria called them out for dinner.
” Wow!! the smell is heavenly” Joanna said.
” Foodie!” Moanna said.
The girls sat down and started serving themselves.
“Are you sleeping over?” Victoria asked.
“What did you see she is doing?” Moanna replied.
Victoria quickly ht her head with the spoon.
“Mummy!” She groaned.
Joanna laughed with the food in her mouth.
Moanna glared at Victoria and she returned the glare.
“Fk you” Moanna said.
“S¢rew you ten times” Victoria said, showing her, her two fingers.
Joanna kept laughing at their drama, there’s no dull moment with them.
“Eat you two” Joanna said and they stopped glaring.
“I love you mum”.
“I love you daughter” Victoria said and they smiled at each other.

TWO WEEKS LATER≈ A HOSPITAL**
Moanna kept fondling with her gown and see wait for the doctor, for the past week, she has being feeling weak, constant throw up and she sleep alot, her boss even had to give her a free week.
She kept everything to herself, no matter how Victoria suspected, she kept denying nothing is wrong with her.
She crimped her lips and kept gazing around the office until the door opened and the doctor entered.
“Doctor” She called.
“Moanna Greg” He called.
“Yes sir” She replied facing him.
The doctor smiled and sat down.
“The result is out” He said and her heart started beating so fast.
What if she is pregnant?.
“No!!! that can’t happen!” She screamed in her head.
” Here” The doctor said and stretched the envelope to her.
Moanna kept looking at the envelope without taking it.
” Take it” He said.
Moanna slowly took the envelope with shaky hands.
She looked at the doctor and still saw that smile on his face.
She started opening the envelope slowly.
She took out the paper and opened it.
Immediately she read what was in the result.
She gasped with widen eyes.
Her whole body started shaking tremblingly. she kept reading the result over and over again.
“No!!, this can’t be !!”.

The doctor looked at her and shook his head, understanding where she is coming from.
“Congratulations miss, you are pregnant” He said.
Moanna quickly looked at him and looked back at the paper.
“You’re joking right? tell me this is a joke doctor” She said.
The doctor smiled lightly.
“That’s is the outcome of the test carried out, why did you think you are constantly throwing up, the unusual weakness, you sleeping a lot, this is the reason behind it” He said.
Moanna didn’t know when tears started coming out of her eyes.
“I’m… I’m pregnant” She muttered and fainted.
The doctor abruptly stood up from his chair and rushed to her.
“Miss” He called shaking her.
He carried Moanna up and took her out of the office.

SOME MINUTES LATER**
Moanna opened her eyes and looked around the room she is.
She gasped and sat up.
“It was a dream, I was just dreaming right?” She asked herself.
“I can see you’re awake?” The doctor said, coming in.
Moanna quickly came down from the bed and went to him, she took his hands.
“Doctor, it’s a dream right, I’m not pregnant right?” She asked.
“It’s not a dream you’re pregnant but why are you getting work up, shouldn’t you be happy, I guess your boyfriend will be happy too” The doctor replied and new round of tears started descending from her eyes.
“I’m gone, mum!!” Moanna started crying out loud.
“Miss, calm down”.
Moanna took the envelope and ran out of the hospital in tears.
The doctor sighed heavily.
“I think she didn’t expect getting pregnant now, pregnancy out of wedlock”.
