I watched as Mason walked away and I felt my shattered heart turning into powder.
I meant every word I said but he thinks I’m only saying that to make him feel better.
I walked out feeling broken as I went straight to my room.
I started to cry and when Hannah came in I hugged her and told her everything.
“It’s okay Avery”.
“No it’s not”.
“I know what will cheer you up, there’s a party this evening and Westley said we can come”.
“Will Mason be there?”
“I don’t know considering the fact he’s recovering “.
“Then I’m not going “.
“What’s up with that, don’t tell me you’re in love with him”.
I kept quiet
“Ohh my God Avery, I could you not tell me”
“I just found out I like him”.
“We have a lot to talk about but first you need rest and you are going to the party and that’s finally ”
I didn’t want to argue with Hannah again so I just dozed off.

I was at the party and everyone seems to be having fun.
I saw as Westley, Oliver and Roy came in but Mason didn’t.
The only reason why I decided to come was because of Mason.
I decided to tell Hannah I’m going because she’s having fun with Westley.
But someone took my hand and pulled me outside.
I looked at the person and it was Tyler.
“Why aren’t you answering my calls?”
I decided to just ignore him and walk away but he held my hand.
“Let me go Tyler”
“Answer me first”
“You used me Tyler, you made me say all those things to mason.you made me feel as if he was wrong and you made me feel that he deserves to be unconscious”.
“What type of friends are you?”
“You never fail to correct me but what happened Tyler”.
“Can’t you not see Avery or you are just ignoring it”.
“See what , the fact—
“I love you Avery, I’ve always love you for a long time”
“But seeing you with Mason made me jealous and I couldn’t stand it anymore and I don’t regret what I did”.
I was too shocked to say anything.
“Tyler loves me”.
“Hannah was right ”
A lot of things were going through my head.
“I…I
“I really love you Avery.”
“I don’t feel the same way Tyler “.
“Is it because of Mason ” he yelled, making me jump a bit.
“I’m better than him”.
“I’m more handsome”.
He grabbed my arm pulling me closer .
“Tyler you—-
I didn’t get to complete what I was saying when Tyler smashed his lips on mine.
