Seeing Ivy with Courtney just now, he could not explain the excitement he felt. He did not stop thinking about her, even for a moment.
Leo has fallen for Ivy, and he knew it. Even from the very first day he saw her, he felt a connection, and that was what pushed him to help her that day.
He loves her, but couldn’t muster the courage to say it to her.
Everything about her, her intelligence, her smallish nature, all this just made him love her more.
And this is the main reason her felt so bad that his own gender is mistreating her, and he could not do anything about it.
He was just so happy to have her back now, he could not explain the excitement he felt earlier when he saw her.
“Uhmm Ivy, would you mind if I treat you for lunch” he said holding her hands and looking directly at her.
“Sure, why not?” Ivy replied cheerfully.
“Courtney aren’t you coming along?” Ivy asked, as she turned to Courtney who was seated quietly all this while.
“No, you guys run along, I have something to catch up with” she said forcing a smile.
Ivy wanted to lure her into going with them, but Leo dragged her away.
“It’s fine then, catch you later Courtney” Leo said and threw his hands around Ivy’s shoulders, then they both started walking towards the cafeteria.
Leo just wanted it to be both of them. He was somehow unhappy when Ivy called Courtney to join them, but he became so glad when Courtney turned down the request.
He’s been hanging around Courtney for the past few days now, all he just wanted now was to be with Ivy without any form of disturbance, or interruption from anyone.

Courtney watched them closely as they both left.
She refused going coz she doesn’t wanna get hurt than she already was.
Honestly, she knew she was sounding like a bad friend now. But somehow, she wished Ivy never came back.
All these days during Ivy’s absence, she has been with Leo, she was the one he was always moving with.
Even though he keeps talking about Ivy, she could bear it, as long as he was with her. But now Ivy is back, and she is all he sees now.
She prays this doesn’t create a rift between her and Ivy, coz she’s already beginning to dislike Ivy little by little.

Days passed by, with Ivy being free from the C4’s. She was always hanging out with Leo and Courtney, just as it was when she came in newly.
She was feeling so happy and fulfilled now.
Courtney was not always comfortable hanging out around them, coz Leo was always focusing all his attention on Ivy. Even when Ivy tries to drag her into the picture, Leo would shove it off.
It was obvious he enjoyed Ivy’s company more, and he wants it to be just the two of them around. It is clear now! He’s making his love for Ivy clear already.
She doesn’t know if Ivy is just pretending, or Ivy is really not aware of the fact that Leo likes her. But Leo makes it so clear that he loves her, or is it that Ivy is too naive to notice it.
Whenever Courtney tells her about it or tries to bring it up, she just laughs and tells Courtney not to talk about it, that there’s nothing like that.
And now all this seems worse, coz Ivy is finally free from the C4’s. Somehow, she even wishes she was never free.
