The master bedroom in Mr Agada’s machine was freezing cold . He was buried under his duvet, he was awoken by the buzzing of his phone .
Ada breathing softly next to him , He flapped over the cover of his phone pouch to see the number of his elder sister ringing .He wondered what would be so important that couldn’t wait till the next morning.
“Hello Martina how are you doing ?” he said with grumpy froggy voice , while his hands rubbed off the sleep , sipping through his brain .
“John sorry that I am calling you so late oh. It’s Simon again oh.” She lamented . “He’s done it again oh.” she gurgled , waited for an eternity for Agada to reply , but his brother was mute .

“You’re not saying anything Agada I said Simon has been arrested .” She added , still her younger brother wasn’t ready to respond
“Martina you see I am tired of Ogar’s problem ! whatever wants to happen to him should happen , at fifty eight years, he should be an elder in Ohimini, not one causing problems.
It’s very late I need to sleep I’ve work to go to tomorrow morning , please don’t disturb me with Ogar’s problem.” He was about hanging the call ,his elder sister begged him not to .
“Agada we all know how hard you’re trying for the family. But remember that if Simon is mad today he’s still your only brother , just the two of you that mama gave birth to .

Our step brothers and sisters are looking at us and are laughing , please we need to get this case settled out of court or else Simon is going to prison .”She said hoping her brother’s anger would have reduced .
“Agada shot his friend Okpe in the leg . Okpe have been rushed to Adagba Orthopaedic Hospital.”
“Jesus Christ is Ogar not mad! why would he do that to his childhood friend?” Agada cried . “Ogar is not okay , we’ll talk about this tomorrow, it’s already late you should go to bed .”
Martina thanked him and cut off the call. Agada sat up on bed wondering what could be wrong with his brother . He was a wrecking ball, a loose cannon ,a mad dog that would bite just anyone , even it’s owner .
“Will you not go to bed? Is Simon a small boy that you would sit up at night to think about ? if he choose to remain a fool at fifty it’s his choice and not yours to correct .”

Ada said , as she adjusted the blanket to cover her frozen feet , she dived back into her dreamy sleep .
For over three months Ogwuche had been labouring tediously to woo Dooshima, but she seemed impenetrable, meandering through his love trap ,

She had remained a step ahead of him at all times,sometimes she would give him a false impression that he had won her heart with his sweet chats, but other times she would throw himoff balance .
“Dooshima why can’t you give us a chance to be happy ?” Ogwuche had asked her Facebook .”You know that I love you Dooshima for three months now you’ve been posting me ,are you so afraid of love ?” He asked
Dooshima replied him with a series of laughing emoji .
“You want to make yourself happy or make us happy Ogwuche? You see I went through your pictures before you deleted most of them , I saw how you were grabbing the hips of different ladies , I cannot be one of them .” She wrote and sent to him with a laughing emoji.
“Dooshima I’ve changed since I met you , I desire no one else , all I want is you , I think of you always , my head cannot reason well . Just give us a chance to talk face to face , if I don’t impress you , then put me under the bus .” He vowed .
“How can I know you’re a changed person ? How do I know you won’t mess with my heart and dump me as your brother dumped my best friend?” Dooshima asked him .

“Dooshima I don’t know what happened between your friend and her boyfriend, I don’t believe in stereotype, they’re good people in Idoma land ,
they’re also bad people in Idoma land , they’re good people in Tiv land they’re also bad people…” He wrote and sent to Dooshima, she saw the sign that he was still typing, so she waited patiently.
“Because a woman is Idoma doesn’t mean she would be faithful and loyal , because a man or a woman is Tiv it doesn’t mean that he’s not faithful or loyal , you can find bad people amongst our tribes ,
what am saying is that , don’t judge me by what you’ve heard about my tribe , just give me a try , if am a bad person then you can dump me . What do you say ?” Ogwuche asked .
“Hmmmmm you almost got to my heart , but I dodged you.” Dooshima replied with a laughing emoji . “Okay let’s say we see tomorrow by two P.M and Palmer’s Eatery ?” she wrote .
“Seriously you’re not kidding me ?” Ogwuche typed and sent to her .
