CHAPTER 7

The atmosphere at the General Hospital Gboko was conducive for Ogwuche , the people were very polite and respectful, he was put under a seasoned doctor, for guidance.
An electric current surged through his whole body , when he came face to face , with Mimidoo at the hospital. She was still curvy and bursty in her uniform , but none of that concerned him .
“Do you know her from somewhere?” Dr Vahe asked Ogwuche .
“No sir I don’t know her .” Ogwuche lied , the doctor could see through his lies , because the two kept looking at each other even after they had passed each other .
“Ogwuche how old are you ?” Dr Vahe asked .

“I am twenty six years sir , I’ll be twenty seven in two months time.” The doctor nodded , as they continued on their ward rounds ,moving from one bed to another , he would pause whenever they had had a patient to attend to .
“I was a bit older than yourself when I started working , but there’s something that has kept me in line , it has helped me .
I don’t chase hips and boobs , the way you were looking at that nurse , I can promise you that you’ll spend all your salary on her .” He said , Ogwuche nodded as though he was in tune with his boss .
“Put your head down , work save money ,and get a good wife , with whom you’ll build a family . That’s my two cents, you can take it or leave it.”

He gurgled, Ogwuche smiled mischievously behind his senior , he wasn’t about to tell him , about how the love of his life , was playing him like soccer ball in the leg of Ronaldinho or Messi .
He had stalked the lady that was tormenting his sleep , she was more sneaky than a bird , the fact he got to know she was law graduate didn’t help . She accurately predicted his actions , and had an antidote in her arsenal to repel him .
Her friend Mimidoo was another enemy of heart desire , she was a leach who wouldn’t let Dooshima be on her own , wherever she saw Dooshima there he Mimidoo. She would never allow him say a word .
He had traced the pastor’s house to Captain Downes Rd,
near the Gboko Polytechnic , the pastor had armed police men guarding his home . Ogwuche had camped outside Dooshima’s family house in one of his uncle’s cars, for several days, after work he would drive to the street and park his car , watching like an American detective .
Just to see if she was going to come outside ,which she rarely did ,and he and whenever she barely did ,she was always chaperoned by her mother , and they would be in a tinted SUV with a police orderly.

His first day at work was interesting , only for the fact that he always ran into Mimidoo , who would snare at him , sometimes fume like an angry beast .
“Hello good evening the most beautiful girl in the whole universe .” Ogwuche messaged Dooshima on Facebook .
“You’ve made my life restless and stampeded my rational thinking , you have made me mad . I can’t think straight anymore, if I ever give anyone the wrong injection you would be the culprit.”
He sent the message, knowing that it would go ignored like the hundred she had ignored in the past . When he got a message alert he couldn’t believe his eyes ,she had reacted with a laughing emoji .

“I didn’t do anything to you Mr! you are obsessed with me , not you alone , I am used to unsolicited attention from your gender , they don’t want to see anything in skirt .” She sent ,Ogwuche felt fire burning in his chest , he couldn’t contain his joy .
“She replied me ?” He yelled so loud in his room .
“Ogwuche are you okay ?” He heard his uncle’s voice call from his bedroom, he quieted down .
