“Do you know me from somewhere ? or do we have a misunderstanding?” He asked ,Mimidoo threw her black handbag into her arms , and let the hand hang beside her side as though she had Whitlow on the hand .
“I have problem with oh , though it’s not about you in particular oh .” Mimidoo said in a mocking way .
“Me ? what have I ever done to you ?” He asked lost in confusion .
“Well you see philandering men like you , I guess this is you first time in this church , but see the way you were staring at my friend sensually.
Auuhrhh!” She squeezed her brows and made her mouth as if she would puke on him , Ogwuche stepped back , he wondered what a crazy lady would be .

“You see Dooshima she’s my best friend , you’re not the first pervert to lost after her like that . I just want to tell you she’s not your type , Dooshima is God fearing , and not into your world of sexual immorality.
Stay away from her!” She yelled so loud , that people turned in their direction .
“She’s the General Overseers daughter! Professor Gamadi doesn’t joke with his daughters, he would arrest if you go near her.
” She gave him the last beat of advice, then shoved him out of her way . Ogwuche almost tumbled over a chair in the church .
She swaggered away , throwing her massive hip from side to side as she hung on her high heels shoes that looked like she would fall off any minute .
He was so disappointed that the girl he had fallen in love with at first sight, has a devil best friend which he knew hated him with all her gut.

He uncle and his family had been waiting for to come and drive them home , at the car park , he saw his aunt searching for him .
“Where did you go self! Don’t you know we didn’t eat before coming to church! you’re just walking about aimlessly, searching for what you didn’t lost!”
She gurgled , Ogwuche was muter than a deaf and dumb , he had learnt to treat his aunt to a silent treatment, the two never wore one slippers .
“Ada behave yourself!” His uncle cautioned his wife . “Ogwuche is no longer a kid , it’s high time you take him as one of your own!”
He hissed , she angrily snatched the key from Ogwuche.
“Does he see me as his mother , that I would take him as one of my own!” Ada replied her husband as she got into the Toyota four runner SUV.

“I am not barren , I’ve children of my own. I don’t need another person’s child to be called a mother .” She got into her vehicle .
“Ngbede are you people going to enter or not !” She yelled at her children who were still busy exchanging pleasantries with their friends , they were rattled , they jumped into the car .
Mr Agada climbed into the front passenger seat , as they waited for Ogwuche to return from where he had wandered to . Ada began to blare the horn of the car , not minding people complaining.
“Ada what’s wrong with you ehn? are you the only person in the car park? how can you be blaring the horn indiscriminately?” He groaned .
“How wait for him he’s not lost he’ll soon return.” He begged .

“See I am not going to be a fool to your brother’s son , I am hungry I need to go and cook ,is he a baby ? if he has respect would he walk away ,
wander away like a crazy man , when he knows his father’s elder brother is waiting for him in the car park ?” She said , for more than a thousand years Ada had been wanting to knock the heads of Agada and his elder brother Simon , after the younger brother had sold off a portion of family land without approval of her husband.
“He doesn’t have regard for you , as his father doesn’t have any like father like son .” she blurted , but Agada was too wise to fall into her trap .
Ogwuche had seen a crowd of people gathered around three black Toyota Landcruiser SUVs , he saw the beauty that had stole his peace getting into one , he ran to catch a glimpse of her , and pick the aura of her scent , to keep to him until he , had the opportunity to see her one on one ,
He trusted his prowess in wooing lasses , he should have had a trophy from Guinness world records, because no lady had ever won him in the game of cat and mouse.

The more he saw her . the more his heart melted , he never believed a player like himself would fall stupidly into love.
He felt like chasing the convoy of the pastor’s cars , as they drove out of the church . “Dooshima I will get you .” He swore under his breath as he made a reverse back to the car.
His cousins four of them , the first in her late teen and her three brothers were all lost in the android world of their handsets .
His uncle was reading his bible , his glasses perched on his nose . His aunt was swollen up like a bull frog that drank horse urine .
If stares were bombs she would have blowned Ogwuche to a million pieces .
“What are you staring at ? you idiot!” She insulted her nephew , he didn’t sneeze her , he was lost in the thought in his head , how he would win over the previous damsel that had taken away his sanity .

They were times while he was younger she would break his bones and will , but now he was one feet taller than her ,she knew she could no longer touch his skin, now she used her vocal arsenal to send cannons . But Ogwuche was too wise to respond.
He would stay with his uncle until he got what he desired form him . She couldn’t eat what his aunt made for dinner that afternoon and evening, he was mostly locked up in his room, searching for the name Dooshima Gamadi on Facebook. But all the hundreds of Dooshima he saw were not the lady his soul panted for .
For the first time in his life ,His eyes lost sleep , he tossed and turned all night , whenever his weary eyes were shut , dreams of the beautiful diva haunted his sleep , the sweetness of her smile , her tears and passion when she sang .
Ogwuche died for her , he knew he couldn’t win this one, he wanted her more than food.
