CHAPTER 78
There was a moment of silence before he replied,
“Hey, I get that you’d like to spend time with your mom but please let me know next time if you’re inviting her over” he said while rubbing her hair.
“okay dad”
“so!! The boys are going to grill the meat for us while we have some girls time” Arizona said and the remaining girl cheered.
“Arizona!!”
“go go dad” Arizona pushed him to the barbecue pit and the two dad began the process.
“Mr Diaz..”
“you’re older than me please cut out the respect..”
“but you’re my boss” Leroy said.
“our daughters are best of friends, let’s be casual among ourselves” he said and dropped a scrap of flesh on the grill and added some spices.
“Thank you so much Mr Diaz, I wouldn’t have peace of mind it it weren’t for you and I don’t think I can drop the formalities, I can never get to where I am in a decade to come” Leroy bowed.
At the girl’s side…
The girls were gossiping amongst themselves when Lexus got lost in staring at the back view of her man. Was he really playing her?
Arizona asked how her mom met her dad so she just ignored then since she has heard the tale over and over again.
Just then a women clad in white was led to the lawn with the help of the bodyguards.
Why was she wearing the same outfit as her? This is cheating!
“Eomma!!” Arizona said and ran to hug her. Hearing Arizona scream, it caught the attention of Lexus who was in awe of how perfect Cameron is.
“Mum are you crying?” Arizona cupped Jimin cheeks.
“May?” Cameron stopped what he was doing and wiped his hands with a towel walking to her direction.
“Can I stay over for some days, my fiance is going to murder me if I go home this night” She cried.
“it’s..” he trailed off and looked at Lexus direction. Lexus avoided his gaze and looked elsewhere.
“it’s fine, you can stay as long as you want” Arizona chipped in.
“thank you”
“Mummy don’t cry” Arizona hugged
After everyone caught their spirits, they settle on a large table. The maids continued grilling the steak and there were divers kinds of food already on the table. It was just like an outdoor feast.
Everyone ate in silence as Ji-min’s incident dampened everyone mood except for one who’s toe was creeping upwards to his legs.
Lexus stretched her legs to touch Cameron’s legs and let it crawl upwards until it stopped at his cr0tch.
He sat up in shock with a paled face and accidentally ht his hands on the wine glass which poured on this clothes and on the table.
