CHAPTER 70
She wandered around till she sat on the bed. He brought out a box from under the bed.
“Booze?”
“I haven’t tried it, I don’t think I want to” she scratched her hair.
“good thing I kept grape juice incase” he brought out two bottles of juice bottles and sat on the pillow he layed on the ground, opposite her.
“so..”
“I like you Snow” he started.
“I know but will you still like me if you found out how dirty I am” she fondled with her hands with her head pressed down.
“hey, no matter how complicated your past it, the history is in your name. You can never be tainted” he cupped her cheeks.
“I was only nine when I became a victim of child abuse..”
“Snow.. you don’t have to talk about it!” he cuts her off her sentence.
“No you’re my friend, I want to tell you” she replied.
“Mom hired a home teacher because I didn’t like going out of my room. Naturally, she was never at home to understand that I started growing far away from her.
He was very nice at first and I grew fond of him. I even started calling him dad because I never had a dad.
I noticed mom always have a flushed expression whenever she’s around him so I assume she likes him.
One day when mum was away he told me he’d reward me for passing my tests. He showed me his thing, I didn’t like the idea but he forced me to svck his thing.
I choked, Kay I choked! but he forced it down my throat not minding the tears flowing from my eyes.
I thought that’ll be the only time but then, he began to rappe me and threatened to kll me if I tell anyone.
I was so scared that I lost my voice, I lost my sense of speaking and I became a mute for years communicating by pen and paper.
Mum and Ocean were confused for why but thought it was the new way I’d like to express myself so they shrugged it off, I couldn’t talk to anyone about what I was facing….
I accepted my fate until mom caught him the act, he was arrested and when I thought the nightmare would be over but people won’t stop talking about me so we moved out to this city.
My brother blames my mother for it all because she was attracted to his face and didn’t know who he really was before she hired him”
She recounted her past without shedding a tear.
“it’s alright, it’s all over” he hugged her.

Seven minutes was already up so Ocean walked in alone with everyone throwing questions at him.
He noticed Phoenix with a girl at the corner, it should be one of the twins, so he finally asked her, he smiled.
“hey, where’s my sister?” Arizona was the first to ask.
– how did the kss go?
– was her lips sweet?.
He smiled faintly and replied.
“she had to home.. Mr red dropped by” Ocean said and everyone wowed.
– so you two went that deep.
– I feel your pain.
“but she doesn’t see her period until 20 of this month” Arizona frowned.
“Her cycle may have changed, who knows” Ocean shrugged.
“Now where’s Kayden?” Ocean asked and sat down.
“I’m going to check on Nick, you guys should continue”
