CHAPTER 38
Jeremy who didn’t left completely quickly rushed back to her.
“Are you really crying!” He asked and started laughing.
” I hate you, you put me in this situation”.
” You ate two plates and you are still unsatisfied, unbelievable” He said while laughing.
Moanna started crying for real this time.
“Hey stop… I will prepare another one for you” He said and she smiled, wiping her tears.
Jeremy eyed her and groaned before leaving.
Moanna immediately burst into laughter.

8PM**
Moanna got downstairs while yawning.. she has been trying to sleep but couldn’t. She decided to come downstairs to get some fresh air.
She looked around the living room and saw it empty.
“Where is that jerk?” She asked and moved to the door, she opened it and went outside.
She smiled and started taking a tour around the mansion to ease time, she can’t believe she is doing this for the first time since she came to live here.
She kept walking till she reached the pool, she smiled and walked there but suddenly she saw a figure sitting beside the pool with his back facing her.
Jeremy suddenly turned and their eyes met.
She started feeling nervous all of a sudden.
They maintained eye contact till she broke it.
“I will take my leave” She said.
“You can join me” He said gently, shocking Moanna.
That voice! where did it came from? it can’t be from him right? she found herself wondering.
“Moanna” He called bringing he back from her reverie.
Moanna smiled and walked there, he sat down beside him, leaving some space between them.
“Finding it hard to sleep?” He asked and she looked at him with a nod.
“You?” She asked.
“Same here” He replied and raised the glass to her.
“Wanna have a drink?”.
“No, I don’t wanna take alcohol” She said.
“Non alcoholic, I won’t risk my son becoming a drunk” He said.
“Son?”.
“Yes” He smiled and she rolled eyes.
“You’re cute” He said and she suddenly looked at him.
“Where is the rule of no talking to each other?” She asked.
“You want us to go back to that?” He asked but she looked away without replying.
Moanna took the bottle from him and poured herself a drink.
She sipped from it.
“Why did you brought two glasses where you expecting some one?” She asked.
“Some one like who?”.
“One of your girlfriends” She replied.
“I don’t have a girlfriend either do I date” He said.
“Did you planned to continue like this, fking around don’t you wanna have a family”.
“Marriage is not in my dictionary, I can’t stick to one pssy for my entire life” He replied and laughed.
Moanna h!t him on the head.
“Fking playboy” She scoffed.
“I don’t wanna get married, never… what about you?”.
“For now, I wanna enjoy my life but I will someday settle down, I can’t believe I’m stuck here with you” She said.
” I don’t like you staying here either” He said and she looked at him.
” I hate you”.
” I know and I hate you too” He replied.
