MASON
I was sitting in the Lamborghini with my parents. I felt disgusted sitting in the same place with them.
Even the air I was breathing with them made me want to throw up.
My mom has been looking at me worriedly,I knew she was Ted to say something but she kept it to herself.
Lately she has been behaving weirdly, not that I care but I just hate it.
Immediately we reached the restaurant , I didn’t even wait for the driver to open the door as I quickly stormed out.
I walked inside and saw Ariana and her parents there.
I didn’t even greet them as I just took my seat at the right end of the table.
My parents came in later as they took their seats.
“Mason, you didn’t even greet me and my husband,” Arianna’s mom said.
I looked at her, I knew she wanted to get a reaction from my parents. If not she would have said it when they hadn’t entered.
“Did you expect me to greet you as what my mother in-law”
A loud gasp was heard from her mouth not expecting my reply.
“I would let you talk to my wife like that,” Arianna’s dad said.
“And who are you to tell me that, because the last time I remember you aren’t my father or father in-law”.
“Mason,” my father said.
I didn’t even look at him as I just stared at my wristwatch.
“You will apologize to them right now”
“No I’m not and you don’t give orders to me “.
“Yes I will because I’m your father”.
I let out a dry laugh
“The last time I checked if correctly you were never a father figure to me.
So don’t come there and act as if you’ve been a good father to me”.
I waited for my mom to say something because she would have sI.apped me or shouted at me to behave and fire disrespecting my father.
Surprisedly, Arianna hasn’t said anything and I wonder why but I was grateful for that
Because if she had, she was the main target there.
“I apologize for my son’s behavior” my mom finally said.
Hearing that son I looked at her.
“Now I’m your son”.
She looked at me confused.
“Apologizing for my bad behavior, mom. Never expected you’ll do this”.
“Now you are saying you’re apologizing on my behalf”.
“Now I’m your son”.
She looked at me confusedly before she said ” yes you are my son”.
“Let me get one thing straight to the both of you”.
“I’m not your son because you lost me the very day you forced me into this marriage.
If you have nothing to say again I’ll take my leave Mr Robert and Mrs Alice Freeman “.
I could see the shock on their faces because this was the first time I called their names.
I called my driver to get me the h’ll away from here.
