CHAPTER 66
ERIEL’S MANSION
Eriel drove madly through the gates into his mansion, he hurried out of his car and didn’t bother to lock his car before rushing upstairs into his house office.
He opened the secret door where he kept the documents and saw it neatly kept there, he glanced through it and nodded before dropping it on a table and held the table tightly as tears slowly trailed down his eyes.
“Oh had I know, I would have been more conscious of my steps, never knew my enemies were far ahead of me,” Eriel lamented.
He took his phone and quickly dialed his dad’s line, Mr Chester picked the call and Eriel briefed him on the happening before hanging up.
He took the documents and locked the room before hurrying down the stairs to his car.
He entered his car and zoomed off immediately, his phone beeped and he saw it was the address of the place.
After driving for an hour, Eriel got to a dilapidated building, he stared at the building in awe.
He came out of his car and took the document along with him.
He hadn’t even taken up to two steps when he was immediately surrounded by some dangerous looking guys.
They all followed him to to the room Aquila was kept and was been brvtally to.rtured.
Tears of sorrow slowly rolled down Eriel’s cheek as he stared at his wife who was also staring at him looking helpless.
He felt like st.rangling Adelina to d.eath, he couldn’t believe the woman he once love would turn out to be a she-d.evil.
Eriel rushed to Aquila and hugged her tightly making Aquila groan in pains. “I am sorry baby, don’t worry I will get you out of here, OK?” Eriel asked and Aquila cried more.
“No Eriel, you don’t have to do this, you shouldn’t have come, she is still gonna kll me,” Aquila whispered crying.
“No baby, she isn’t that heartless, she wouldn’t hurt us, OK?” Eriel said reassuringly and Aquila shook her head sorrowfully crying, Eriel sighed and hugged her tightly.
“Enough of the romantic frenzy! I need the documents!” Adelina scowled, Eriel quickly took the documents from the ground where he has dropped it earlier and was about handling it to Adelina, when Aquila held his hands.
“No please, don’t give her,” Aquila pleaded weakly.
“No babe, I have to give her so we can get out of here, you are worth more than this document,” Eriel whispered.
“Do you know what you are doing? You are giving her all your inheritance!” Aquila yelled and groaned in pains.
“I don’t care, so far I get to be with you and the baby after this, I am OK,” Eriel said and Adelina smile wickedly from where she was standing watching them.
“Too bad lover boy, your sweetheart will die before your very eyes,” Adelina thought smiling and Nathan pecked her cheek.
“You are doing well baby,” Nathan whispered and Adelina grinned.
Eriel stood up and slowly handed her the documents, Adelina took the documents and glanced through it, she nodded her head in satisfaction before giving it to the man standing beside her.
The man took it and walked to machine, that will detect if the documents are fake or not, after waiting for awhile the man came back smiling.
“Congratulations ma’am, the documents are not fake, they are real,” the man said and Adelina smiled.
“Get me a pen,” Adelina said smiling and Nathan got her a pen, she placed the documents on the table and told Eriel to move closer, Eriel came closer and she gave him the pen.
“Here, I want you to write here that you’ve willed everything that belongs to the Chesters to me, then you sign here,” Aquila directed and Eriel sighed before doing what he was told obediently.
