CHAPTER 23
Eriel took slow strides towards her and finally stopped in front of her, “look at me,” Eriel said with a very gentle voice that Aquila began wondering if he was the same guy that beat her up without any ounce of pity for her.
“I don’t wanna repeat myself,” Eriel muttered and Aquila slowly raised up her head, Eriel’s eyes widened in surprise.
“Huh? Why does she have a black eye and her eyes are swollen?” Eriel thought as he stared at her pitiful facial appearance.
“Have you been crying?” Eriel asked to be sure and Aquila nodded nervously with her head bowed. “What the fk got into me?” Eriel thought in amusement.
“Come with me,” Eriel said as he began walking out of the room.
“No, I am not coming with you!” Aquila yelled tearfully, Eriel turned and walked back to her.
Aquila turned and quickly faced the wall in fear thinking he wanted to hit again, Eriel sighed.
“Never knew I became a monster overnight,” Eriel mumbled as he gently turned her to face him, surprisingly he hugged her and Aquila’s eyes widened in shock.
“Although I hate to say this but I am sorry for how I treated you yesterday,” Eriel said as he broke the hug now staring at Aquila calmly and she nodded her head not knowing what to say as tears trailed down her eyes.
“Dress up, let me take you to the hospital,” Eriel whispered and Aquila nodded.
She managed to enter the dressing room and put on a lengthy Long sleeve gown going out to meet Eriel who was waiting for her.
“Can you walk to the car,” Eriel asked, staring at her and Aquila nodded nervously.
She came out of the room and began feeling dizzy before she could hold herself, she slumped.
Eriel rushed to hold her before she fell to the ground.
