CHAPTER 9
“Yeah, I am ready, please let’s go before I change my mind,” Aquila muttered sadly as she entered the car, Mr Chester held his wife’s hands.
“Stay with her in the back seat, OK?” He asked.
“OK,” Mrs Chester said and sat with Aquila at the back seat, while Mr Chester began the drive to Eriel’s mansion.
Mrs Chester drew closer to Aquila who was looking out of the window in deep thought.”hey?” Mrs Chester called tapping Aquila gently on her shoulders, Aquila turned to face her and faked a smile. “Are you OK?” Mrs Chester asked.
“Yes I am fine,” Aquila muttered. Mrs Chester smiled as her eyes trailed down Aquila’s alluring face.
“You are such a beautiful daughter,” Mrs Chester said.
“Daughter?” Aquila asked with wide eyes.
“Yes dear, you are my daughter-in-law so you are equally my daughter,” Mrs Chester said, smiling softly at her.
“Ouwk…..but ma’am……before Aquila could finish her sentence, Mrs Chester cut her off politely
“Call me mum,” she said.
“Huh? Mum?” Aquila muttered nervously.
“Yeah, say it to me, I wanna hear you call me mum,” Mrs Chester said.
“OK mum,” Aquila muttered nervously and kssed Mrs Chester’s cheek.
“Oh my God!” Mrs Chester exclaimed excitedly and Aquila smiled.
Mr Chester smiled and pouted jealously, “what about me?” He asked and Mrs Chester and Aquila bursted into a thunderous laughter.
Mr Chester frowned and parked the car, “since you won’t give me a peck we are not living here,” Mr Chester muttered.
“OK fine, I love you daddy,” Aquila said and kissed his cheek, Mr and Mrs Chester smiled at each other.
“Finally, she has loosened up,” Mrs Chester said happily, Mr Chester smiled and started the car immediately and he drove off.
