CHAPTER 53
Dawson sighed as he waited patiently for Ava at the rooftop of crescent college.
“She already read my message, why is she not coming?” He muttered and he saw her walking towards the school entrance that was far from the school building.
“Ava” He called her name, and quickly came down from the rooftop and approached her, holding her hand.
“Ava”
Ava turned to look at him, and when she saw it was Dawson, she took her hand from him.
“Did you get slapped? What happened to your face?” He asked trying to touch her cheek, but Ava sI.apped his hand off.
She glared at him before walking away.
Being confused by her new behavior, Dawson went after her and blocked her path.
“What’s going on Ava? It seems like you’re avoiding me on purpose. Did I do something wrong?” Dawson asked with eyes filled with emotion.
Ava looked at him. There were so many things she wanted to say, but she couldn’t, because she’s mute.
“If I have done something wrong to you, tell me so I can apologize… I’m sorry if I wrong you in anyway, Ava” Dawson said.
Ava glared at him and angrily brought out her notebook, and wrote on it. Dawson waited for her to finish writing whatever she had to say.
When Ava was done, she tear the part of her notebook and threw it at Dawson before walking away.
Dawson picked up the paper from the ground and read through the lines.
📝 I don’t want any trouble from your girlfriend, Dawson, so stay away from him.
If I am in danger because of your girlfriend, I won’t be able to bail myself out because I can’t speak. It’s best if we stop being friends, I don’t want to be pitied
“What girlfriend is she talking about? I don’t pity her. I’m in love with her” Dawson said.
He looked around, but he could no longer see Ava.

RAMIREZ’S MANSION ~ SAME DAY
“Cathy, are you okay in there? You have been inside your room for two days. Cathy!” Her mom said, knocking on the door, but Cathy paid a deaf ear.
She covered herself under the bed, crying reminiscing on the first day she saw Clayton.
They bumped into each other and Clayton was having a bad day, because his father was arrested for smuggling drugs.
“Are you alright?” She asked and Clayton looked at her with sad eyes.
Without minding who she was, Clayton hugged her crying in her arms.
“What should I do? My whole life is crumbling” He hugged her tightly, crying.
Cathy’s heart sang rhymes as Clayton hugged her, crying, and before she could stop herself, she fell in love with him.
She became a student of crescent college, just so she could get close to him.
Cathy took off the duvet from her face. Her hair was scattered all over her face and her eyes were red and swollen.
“I met Clayton first even before you thought of becoming a scholarship student in crescent college, so he is mine Molly Moon. I met him first!!!” She shouted, breaking everything breakable in her room.
