On her way out of the main building, she met Leo. And just as if they’ve been searching for each other, he quickly approached her.
“Hey Leo” Courtney greeted, as soon as he walked up to her.
“Hi Courtney” he quickly returned the greeting.
“Why were you absent from school yesterday?” He asked, and Courtney released a light smile.
“I uhmm went somewhere with my mom” she answered, still having that smile on her face. And “Oh” was the only thing Leo could say.
“Have you by any chance seen Ivy today?” He asked after some few seconds of silence.
To be honest. Seeing Leo, she had totally forgotten about Ivy, just for this few minutes they spent together.
She really loved Leo so much, and it breaks her heart that each time they met, he only wants to talk about Ivy.
It just seems like she’s the only important person to him, and he’s creating a kind of jealousy for Ivy in her heart.
“Courtney!” Leo called, jolting her out of her thoughts.
“Huh!” She blinked rapidly.
“I just asked you a question” he said looking straight at her.
“Oh Ivy. No I haven’t seen her, I guess she’s not in school today” Courtney answered quickly.
“She is, who told you such?” Leo quickly rushed at her.
“Her seat mate confirmed she haven’t seen Ivy the whole of today. If she is, I guess she’s with the C4’s then” Courtney shrugged.
“No I don’t think so. I’m just coming from the hall they normally meet, but it was empty and there was nobody there” Leo said, and Courtney nodded slowly.
“It’s confirmed then, Ivy’s not in school” Courtney said.
“No, I met her twin Alvin this morning and he told me she was in school today” Leo said with a puzzled look.
“Well that’s strange” Courtney mumbled.
“Or could Alvin be lying to us?” He asked deep in thoughts.
The both of them were really puzzled coz Ivy would normally inform them if she has plans of staying away from school. This is really strange!
Leo was feeling really bad, coz he has missed Ivy so badly.

Ivy was busy copying the notes for hours now. She had really covered a large area, and wanted to do more.
But the flesh was already weak, and she couldn’t go any further. So she slept off on the table, with her head buried in the books.
She has been sleeping for so long now, and was ready to continue sleeping. Until a fly perched deep inside her ear, she tried to slap it off, but it flew away.
She got up instantly and scratched her ear a little. The feeling was very offensive.
“Where did that fly even come from?” she thought as she got up and looked around. Looking around, she saw so many books around the table, and she sighed tiredly.
The C4’s were really draining her strength, and they’ve finally succeeded in frustrating her.
The whole of today, she did not attend any classes, and she was in school.
All thanks to the C4’s, she has been in here in the library, copying their notes, while her mates are in class learning.
She looked at the books and sighed before picking up her pen to start writing again.
But she just couldn’t, her fingers were aching her already, and all her muscles seemed weak.
She decided to give up and have some rest again, maybe when she wakes up she would have some strength by then.
She looked around the library and found out she was all alone, with a female student there. It was just the two of them there, and the student was busy with her phone.
She sighed tiredly and rested her head on the table. She tried going back to sleep, but the sleep would not just come.
That stvpid fly!! She would have been asleep by now, if not for that annoying fly.
She tried forcing her eyes close, and forcing herself back to sleep. But it suddenly went open with force, as she remembered something.
She looked at her her phone, and saw it was past noon.
