Chris just sat at a corner, his attention focused fully on her, without uttering a word. He was just busy looking at her.
“And I thought we’ve told you to always come here by yourself when it’s lunch break.
Why do we still have to send Dominic to get you” Canice added harshly, and she still remained quiet.
“I see you really need a push, and that is what we’re gonna give you” Collins said, his voice sounding wicked.
“I’m so sorry” Ivy said, and began pleading immediately.
“Are you standing and apologizing to us? On your knees!” Canice ordered, and she quickly went on her knees, still pleading for forgiveness.
They all remained silent for a while as she continued begging.
“Apology accepted” Castillo breathed, after a very long while. And she was about standing on her feet, when Castillo stopped her.
“Ah, ah, ah…….who asked you to stand up?” He scoffed, and Ivy quickly went back on her knees, with her head bowed, as she faced her fingers.
Chris felt really bad about this, but couldn’t do or say anything. So he just remained quiet, in order not to attract more suspicions.
“You know we are not bad people, we are very nice people” Castillo started, smiling cutely.
“So that’s why we’ve decided to make today’s job a really simple one” he added, smirking.
But Ivy did not feel any excitement at all, coz she knew when they say something, they actually mean the opposite. And the smirk on Castillo’s face was not a friendly one at all, it was sarcastic.
“So as you can see, we have been missing so many test and classes lately, all because of you” Castillo said, and Ivy was forced to look up at him.
Like are they for real right now! Between the whole of them, she is supposed to be the one saying this, not them. The h’ll, what nerve! They’ve been missing classes? Like seriously? Whose fault is that?
“So being the good guys we are, we have decided that we’re not gonna punish you much for that” Castillo continued, and Ivy secretly rolled her eyes.
“We’ve come to a conclusion that the only thing you’re gonna do for us, is to help us fill up for those classes we’ve missed.
And so we’re gonna give you our note books to copy all the topics we’ve missed. And you’re to be done in 48 hours” Castillo released the bombshell, and Ivy gasped.
How on earth is she gonna do that within 48 hours, she still had her own books to attend to. Do they even remember there are four of them?
She tried pleading with them, but they just won’t let her speak.
“Hold on baby, there’s good news” Collins smirked.
“For this 48 hours, we’re not gonna be disturbing you, you’ll be left alone. We’re kind enough right?” Collins added, and they all laughed except Chris.
Collins and Canice did not hesitate to drop their books in front of Ivy, and one of Castillo’s body guard did that for him.
And by the time Ivy looked in front of her, they were heaps of books. And she did not even know when tears started rolling from her eyes.
“Hey man, aren’t you gonna drop your notebooks too?” Canice questioned, when he saw Chris seated. And just then, they realized Chris hasn’t dropped his notebook yet.
Everyone was looking at him, expecting him to drop his books. But his reply shocked the living day light out of everyone.
“There’ll be no need for that, I’ll update it somewhere else” he suddenly said, and everyone turned to him.
