“And Courtney, this is Madison, my very close friend. We’ve been friends since forever, she attended my old school, and now she’s back again. It’s like she’s stalking me” Ivy said, and they all laughed.
“Nice to meet you” Madison said stretching her hands for a handshake.
“Nice to meet you too” Courtney said taking her hands, and forcing a smile. She just doesn’t like this girl at all, she couldn’t even tell why.
“Hello ladies!” Leo greeted walking in on them.
“Hi Leo” Ivy and Courtney said simultaneously.
“How are we doing today?” He smiled as he took a seat close to Courtney, coz Ivy was already seated with someone else.
“We’re good” Courtney smiled.
“I see we have a new face here” Leo said looking at Madison.
“Yeah, this is Madison, my very good friend. She was my classmate at West High, and now she’s here again” Ivy introduced smiling.
“Wow, nice to meet you Madi” he said and engaged her in a handshake.
“Nice to meet you too” Madi said smiling sweetly.
“Yeah, welcome to Crestfield” he added.
“Uhmm Ivy, have you showed her around” Leo asked.
“No, not really. My bad, but I’ll do that some other time, she just arrived” Ivy replied.
“No Ivy, I wanna go now, please show me around now” Madi interrupted, pouting like a baby.
“Really Madi?” Ivy laughed.
“Yeah just stand up, I’m tired of eating already” she persuaded further.
“Alright fine” Ivy rolled her eyes. She sighed tiredly and got on her feet.
“Courtney are you coming with us?” Ivy asked, and she shook her head.
“It’s alright, I’ll be fine. You go ahead” Courtney declined softly.
“Okay, see you soon” Ivy said and Madi dragged her away.

“What’s up with the cold attitude?” Leo nudged Courtney, immediately Ivy and Madi were out of sight.
“I don’t know, I just don’t like that girl. Something feels odd about her” Courtney said calmly, and Leo looked at her with the corner of his eyes in a funny way.
“Hmmm, do I smell jealousy…” he teased, and Courtney gave him a little slap at his back.
“No I’m not, really Leo I’m not. I don’t just like her at all, my spirit does not concur with hers” Courtney said sincerely.
“Your spirit just doesn’t with anyone except Ivy and I” he said and Courtney released a little laugh.
“You know what? I just think you’re jealous because Ivy’s giving your supposed attention to her friend now” Leo said, and she sighed lowly.
“But you just have to come off it. That girl just came, she should also get some attention too, don’t you think? With time, I know you’re gonna blend in and love her” Leo further adviced, and Courtney simply shrugged.
“I hope so” she breathed.
