“Grandma this is a wrong time for you to leave me , who would I go to for advice ? who would counsel me , who would be my mother , why did you have to leave at my weakest time ?” Thought Dooshima , as the hot tears boiled down her nose .
“You were my backbone , without you in this seven years would I have made it out alive ? where am I to go to ? Amos God will punish you wherever you are , devil.
“Dooshima continued her stream of thoughts, she wiped the tears off her face with the back of her hand as she sat next Grandma’s graveyard. Mama was buried next to her bedroom , her grave was covered with sky blue tiles .
“Dooshima why are you doing this to yourself? Grandma has gone to rest you should also rest .” Mama Destiny said . “You have to continue with your life oh .”
The dark skin woman lamented ,hands planted on her waist “Not even all her children came for her burial why will you cry more than the children of the bereaved ?” The woman walked away .
Dooshima’s phone began to buzz ,she wiped the tears from her face to see who it was who was calling him , she saw the number she hissed and cut off the call .

The number kept calling over and , she had long deleted it from her phone , but it was stored in her brain . She picked up on the sixth call .
“What is it Terdue ! why are you calling me!” Dooshima yelled .
“Please hear me out Dooshima , would you please hear me out ?” Terdue begged .
“See Terdue you called at the very wrong time , I don’t feel like talking to you know , I don’t want to ever hear your voice , you’re a married man now please focus on your marriage and let this wore be in peace !” Dooshima yelled .
“Please Dooshima I can explain , I can explain everything… please can we see ?” He begged .
“Terdue I beg you in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth avoid me ! You think I was after your money ? Terdue you lied to my face ! You don’t have anything to say to me , I just want to have my peace goodbye!” Dooshima said and hung up the phone , she immediately put her phone on flight mode .

Dooshima prepared lunch , before going to Shiana’s school to pick her , she met a new nun at the gate .
“Good day ma please I want to pick my daughter her name is Shiana Gamadi .” Dooshima said impatiently, as the throng of students wearing milkish brown and brown pinafore dresses shuffled out of the gated compound .
“Your daughter is what class ?” She asked.
“She’s in Basic three .” Dooshima said .
“Oo ooh I think she’s gone out , she left with some of her classmates.” The nun said .
“You said what?” Dooshima asked with furrowed brows .
“She shuffled pass me , I didn’t know she was supposed to wait with the other children whose parents usually come to pick .” The nun said , she was a young nun , new to the job she looked so naive .
“Where is Sister Starling?” Dooshima asked , forcing her anger down . “Where is my daughter’s matron!” Dooshima yelled at the nun .

“She-s she-s been transferred.” the nun stuttered.
“Is the headmistress in school!” Dooshima yelled , the nun nodded , Dooshima shoved passed her and climbed the staircase, in a minute time she was in the Headmistress office .
“Good afternoon Mother , I had come to take my child home the nun at the gate is telling me she let her go out of the gate , how can that happen? for the past four years my daughter has been attending school here not one day , has she gone home by herself , how can a girl of seven years be allowed to walk from this place all the way to Lessel!” Dooshima squeak. “If sister Starling has been transferred,why was the new nun not given proper information on how to deal with the kids ?” Dooshima cried .
“Madam please am sorry , it was just a little miscommunication, please we will find her .” She said . “By the grace of God we will .” The older sister , who was wearing a round rim glasses , that had two ropes attached to the end said .
“Ma I’ve been through a lot this past few months , I beg you ma please find my daughter for me! the school rules is that no child should leave without a guardian why would mine ?” The woman got up from behind her desk , she grabbed her handset and glasses casing from the brown oak table .

“Let me drive you towards your house , we may run into your daughter on the road , why would she leave school without a guardian?”The woman asked rhetorically.
“Don’t worry the Lord shall keep her safe .” Dooshima was too angry to say amen , first it was Terdue with his shenanigans,then now her missing daughter .
“Sister Favour how come you let the kids go out without their guardian?” the mother superior asked her .
“Mother I was busy I didn’t pay attention when she left .” She said to the mother superior, who was on the steering , while Dooshima sat to her right by the front sit of the car,while the gateman opened the gate.
“Busy I told you to be careful , just pray we find this child soon , or else you’ll be in lot of problems.” she quarreled .
