“Dooshima you paid us a visit ?” Mrs Doowuse said with a smile on her face , she sat on the couch crossed leg, Dooshima wasn’t a bit intimidated .
“Yes ma I was asking Mimidoo here about my fiance , it’s been over two months now I’ve not been able to reach him . I believe you’ll know if he’s alright.” Dooshima asked .
“Yes my son is doing fine , it’s true he got promoted , but I made a good request from a friend who helped me work his transfer .

Dooshima you’re not good enough for my son , you’re just the second woman in his life , you have a baby already, you’re loose you lured him to bed , you sent him your nude pictures and then his stupid drunk of a friend got to see it .
” He jeered . “My boy cannot marry you , who knows how many people got to see your nakedness , who knows of right now your nude picture is floating around the internet and the world ?” She said .
“I thought it was better he path ways with you , it was either that or his father’s estate in Abuja , and I gave birth to a smart boy. Well I’m not so wicked to let you and your poor child starve I gave him a sum of five hundred thousand naira , to give to you , I believe he did just that .”
She said chuckling , Mimidoo couldn’t look at Dooshima . A tear drop was building in her eyes , she forced the tears back in .
“Thank you Mrs Doowuse for your hospitality and your judgement , I am cheap wore , maybe the poorest girl whore in Lessel , but your son should have been man enough to break up with me .” Doowuse said standing up on her feet staring at Mrs Doowuse

“Oh what impetus! the cheap whore can talk back at me ?” She asked .
“Yes rich and powered mistress , I’ll refund you your money , all of it , I’m not poor as you think , just there in Gboko I’ve a billionaire father who can buy you , buy your house and your husband’s estate . I don’t know if the name professor Gamadi rings a bell .
I am here in Lessel out of my own volition, to pay penance for my own ! mistakes! I think it’s enough of the insults and belittling from judgemental hypocrites like you .
Your son can never find a woman like me .” Dooshima said in a bust of anger , Mimidoo knew who Paul Gamadi was , one of the richest men in Benue State , she couldn’t believe that Dooshima was the missing daughter of the billionaire she had seen in Benue Daily news , she had been hiding in plain sight , just a few kilometres from her parents.
She had warned her mother to let her Terdue be with who he loved , but she kept forcing her choice woman on him . Dooshima held the tears in , until she got home , she burst into tears , crying her eyes out , Mama Amos could heard her bang the door behind her and her whimpering , she forced herself out of her bed and came to see the wailing lady .

“Dooshima what is it ?” She asked . “Is Terdue dead ?” Dooshima shook her head .
“He’s not he left me .” Dooshima said crying . Mama called her granddaughter Gift and sent her to Holy Child to go and pick Shiana from school .
“Dooshima anyone can leave you , except God , but you’ve not heard from him , why do you take the word of his mother seriously?” Mama Amos asked .
“Mama his mother gave him five hundred thousand naira to pay me off , am I that cheap ? Terdue has hurt me so much , than anyone has ever hurt me , he treated me like a fool .” She said crying , Prisca and Priscila walked into the room .
“Dooshima sorry stop crying , we told you that those men are good for nothing, we just eat them and let them go .” Prisca said .

“Will you shut up your mouth now!” Mama Amos slapped her laps .
“Dooshima Amos sent us a video would you like to watch it ? It’s been trending online for about two months now .”Priscilla said .
“It’s a video from Terdue’s wedding .” Prisca added Dooshima cried the more , the ladies played the video , the wedding had held in Makurdi .
It was a big wedding the reception hall was well decorated, The bride was looking so fair like an albino, she looked like an angel , Dooshima felt small at moment , she was dancing and basking to music , Terdue was just a mismatch, he wasn’t reciprocating the good his bride energy .
then when the Master of Ceremony asked that he should kiss his bride , Terdue refused he sat put on his majestic couch , leg crossed his palm under his cheeks , he was not part of his party , his bride was so embarrassed and the video cut off .

“Oga leave me alone I don’t know what you’re saying I don’t know this man !” The four ladies heard Amos’s voice from outside the house .
“Shut up your mouth get into the truck!” an authoritative voice ordered . “I’ll break your head oh you armed robber!” The voice said .
“I am not going anywhere I don’t know that man!” Amos said , the four women got out of the Dooshima , Amos had run into his mother’s bedroom , four police men , all dressed in jeans and black polo shirts holding Ak47 riffles , stood outside , with one of Amos’s gang members , his hands were handcuffed in front of him , from his swollen face and lips it showed the police had pummeled him .
inside grandma’s bedroom , Amos fought with the police men , grabbing unto the leg of his mother’s bed , as the three police men tried to arrest him . They hit his hands with the butt of their riffles .
“Omo I go waste this one oh!” One of the police man cried .
“No shoot am! No shoot am! Oga say make we bring am alive!” the other police man said . They kicked and hit his head against the wall until he began to bleed .

“Mama! Mama! Don’t let them take me away SARS will kill me !” The Amos cried holding on to the door post , his head was covered with injuries , the SARS operatives beat the leaving day out of his body , the forcefully put the handcuffs on his hand and threw him like a bag of cassava into the back of their Hilux van .
A police man slapped the other robber who had brought them to Amos’s house , he fell to the ground .
“Get up! get up! Shebi you be armed robber Abi!” The sound of the riffle went off , the guys mangled leg hanged loosely , the police men dragged the bleeding man into the back of their Hilux van .
“Mama save me oh! mummy don’t let them take me away! I swear it’s Torsu who had the gun! I didn’t carry any arm mama !” The police men drove away pouring dust all over the spectators . Mama Amos grabbed her chest , she felt a sharp pain in her chest .
“Mama are you okay ? mama ! Mama !” Dooshima cried ,she slumped on Dooshima’s body and finally on the ground , her eyes were open but she stared blankly into the sky, unable to recognise anyone .
