NEXT DAY
Aquila stirred uncomfortably on the bed before opening her eyes she look beside her and couldn’t find Eriel, the remaining sleep in her eyes cleared off immediately. “Huh? He did not sleep beside me?” Aquila thought sadly.
“Do I disgust him now?” Aquila asked as her eyes began to water.
Just then the door opened and she looked up expectantly to see Eriel but Robert came in instead.
“Where is Eriel? Where is my husband?” Aquila asked anxiously. Robert sighed before talking, finding it difficult to say the message Eriel dropped for Aquila.
“Good morning ma’am, Boss dropped a message for you,” Robert said and paused to see Aquila’s reaction but she was having a blank expression on her face.
“Boss said, he will be away for a week, it is a business trip and it would be a great loss to the company if he stays behind.
He told me to tell you to take care of yourself,” Robert said before walking out of the room.
Immediately he left, Aquila bursted into a loud cry. “He hates me now, that’s why he travelled to stay away from me,” Aquila said as she curled up on the bed still crying like a baby.

Eriel stopped his car in the parking lot, he stared at the massive and magnificent buildings in front of him and sighed, he was standing in front of one of his expensive hotels in Canada.
He sighed again for the upteeneth time since he left USA, he wondered how Aquila will feel with the message he dropped.
Not that he is avoiding her because of the incident that happened the other day.
He is avoiding her because he feels guilty about everything, if he had gotten there on time she wouldn’t have been hurt.
He sighed again as he walked into the reception, the staff bowed respectfully as he walked pass them until he got to the elevator.

Aquila stood at the balcony staring outside most especially the playing children.
Well Eriel will be coming back today and Aquila has been so happy about it, “I am going to make him suffer for making me cry,” Aquila thought and smirked.
Just then the gate opened automatically and two new expensive looking car drove in making Aquila squeal in excitement she rushed into their room and jumped on the bed using the duvet to cover up.
Eriel got than from the car and hurried into the mansion he has missed Aquila so much, he saw some group of maids gossiping, immediately he walked in they all stood up and bowed their head in respect.
“Is my wife in?” Eriel asked ignoring their greetings.
“Yes sir,” they chorused and Eriel nodded before rushing upstairs. He got to their room door and inhaled softly.
He opened the door only to find Aquila laying on the bed sleeping, he walked to her and squatted beside her staring at her face.
He felt bad for making her cry, Robert told him she has been crying since the first day he left.
